About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Fun track
Overall conditions are excellent considering the amount of traffic . Not long but requires accuracy to score. Greens are in excellent shape. Staff always helpful and friendly.

A great track in great shape.
Probably one of the best (if not the best) public course that I have ever played because of the great condition of fairways, greens, and sand bunkers. Although a short course, it's plenty challenging with it's fairly fast undulating greens, lots of bunkers, and the Comal Springs River running through it with strategically placed ponds and the river fronting some greens on your approach shot.

Landa Park - Best kept secret in Texas
What a great track, The upgrades made in 2014 are fantastic. Course played great, and was in fantastic shape.

Tough course and slow play. Very interesting and challenging layout. Great conditions but it took 2 1/2 hours to play nine. I had to leave after nine cause I couldn’t stay late enough to play 18. Players taking practice putts on the green with a group on the fairway and another on the tee box is not fun. Didn’t see a marshal at all to help traffic keep moving. But the course is great probably why it was so busy

Another great day at Landa Park
Landa Park Golf Course is a mature course that is painted inside an existing landscape of mature oaks and a meandering river stream clear as the day. I’m a senior golfer so my distance is less than it once was. But, Landa is rather short by today’s standards, which works well for a golfer of my distance. I carry an 11 handicap and this course gives me all I can handle! Plus, it’s in a beautiful setting. I recommend it to everyone!

Landa Park
Greens were in the best shape that I have played in Texas this year. Sand bunkers were raked but they were packed very hard and wet, no real consistency.
This is a fun course but can be challenging if you are not in the fairways. Some of the tee boxes could use some work but overall a good course for the money.

Golf Course Revisited
I first played Landa Park in the 1970's and it was a great course then. Over the years I have played it once or twice; however, I have only played it one other time in the last 10 years. It was a beautiful day and got to play with 3 great gentlemen, one from Indiana, one from Kansas, & one for Thailand. It was a great day and the course was in excellent condition. What made it even better was the fact that everyone had some tremendous shots.

Staff did not follow Covid guidelines
First time to play this course and I had a terrible experience. Walked into clubhouse staff was not wearing face masks and took my payment with no face mask or coverings. Course does not have a driving range. Course also did not let me be aware that a tournament was going on. So the pace of play took a long time. Carts were not sanitized. And manager got upset with me when I said I wanted to play with myself because of Covid. Said I had to play with 3 other people. This is the first course to make me play with others during this time and not by myself. I will never come back.
Comal River gem
Very busy friendly golf course, only recommendation would appreciate hazard flag blind water areas coming into play #3 par 5 and # 17 par 4 water left next to green.
