About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Golf
I have gone here twice and both times my cart has died the first time I called the club house and they said they would send someone out and never did so we had to be towed in by the guys in our group... other than that it’s a nice open course with lots of deer on the course which makes for a cool experience, also it said the club house was serving food online but they where closed so eat before you go if you do!

Fun course!
Course is in excellent condition and couldn't even tell aeration had been done receny. Greens are rolling great!

Always a fun course
First of all, the staff is superb. More like close friends than a business! Course is in great shape. Challenging, but still fun. Elevation changes, ponds and river holes, trees, and wonderful wildlife. Pace of play is very good. Rarely have to wait on tee box. Very convenient location. We always thoroughly enjoy our game at Landa! The staff is very proactive and works closely with players in managing tee times.

Nice layout by the Comal River
Enjoyed playing this golf course. This was my first time playing the layout is fun make sure to follow the sign's.
The wildlife is everywhere and friendly.

Fun course with great features
Fun course with great features for all levels of play. Course plays fair and is set up for low scores. Greens hold approach shots and are a medium fast speed and roll true. Speed of play is a good pace and really no wait times on any tee box. Staff is friendly and helpful. Wildlife on course makes it a great enjoyable day of golf.

Cool little hidden gem
Solid course for the price. Wish I lived in this neighborhood so I could play it more! Totally worth the drive from Austin.

Great course,,,,my home course!!!
Had not played this course 3 weeks but the condition of the course was excellent!! Greens were in great shape and speedy as usual. Went out at noon and was done at 3:30pm! Will be back next week!!!

Amazing course

Best muni around
Drove up from San Antonio to play this course with some friends. Can’t wait to go back. By far, the best municipal course in the area. Tee to green, conditions were outstanding. It’s a short course, but don’t let that fool you. It’s got its share of challenges.

City Gem
Short course but there are several challenging holes. What the course lacks in distance they make up with difficult layouts. #10 and #18 are good examples. #10 is a 137 yard par 3 that is straight up hill. 18 is a par 4 that visually there is no landing area. Course is in great shape.

Strong Showing
Today was my first visit to Landa Park and surely will not be my last. Enjoyed the layout, for the length called for great strategy and the greens were fantastic and well guarded by bunkers. Great layout and good use of land. Can’t wait to return.
