About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Great course, could use a marshal
I love this course, just the right amount of challenge. But for rounds later in the day, they could use a ranger or marshal to keep the pace of play going. I played on a Friday afternoon and waited on almost every hole for the group ahead of me, and sometimes for more than one group.
That is my only complaint.
This course is in great shape and is unbeatable value
Besides the lack of a driving range this course is unbeatable! Nice carts with the yardage displays in them but I just couldn’t get over the amazing condition compared to the super reasonable price! I’m going to try to make it a weekly course

Great experience
Perfect Greens, beautifully manicured and fun layout. So green and vibrant atmosphere around the greens on many holes. I plan on a second visit soon. Thank you Landa staff for a wonderful day of golf at a beautiful facility!

the employees in the pro shop was very professional and friendly. the course was in great shape, the greens were in excellent condition. this was my 2 nd time playing landa park, and i will be back again . the best course in the area.
Favorite New Course
This course is amazing. I really like the layout and the conditions rival most premium courses. The downside is it's a bit short. It's a par 71 but only 6.2K yards from the tips. Greens are in great shape but a bit slow. I like my greens to be slightly faster but the pace is consistent. Overall, more than a great value for the price.
