About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Favorite New Course
This course is amazing. I really like the layout and the conditions rival most premium courses. The downside is it's a bit short. It's a par 71 but only 6.2K yards from the tips. Greens are in great shape but a bit slow. I like my greens to be slightly faster but the pace is consistent. Overall, more than a great value for the price.
Set good condition
This was a great choice. I’ve never played a course during the winter in better shape for such a good price. Just a nice track.

Best course I've played this year and considering it's March the course was in better condition than expected.

Fun course but tee times
I love coming to this course. Staff is great and the food is great too. Only thing I would change is tee times availability for carts and closing. I paid 30 dollars to play "18" but tee time was for 5:50, but they close at 6:45.. I'm not really sure what the logic is there. But if I'm paying for 18 with a cart, I should be able to play 18 with the actual cart. Especially if I'm stuck behind a bunch of walkers.
Again fun course but if you want a cart and a chance to play 18 you need to be there by 2:30 minimum.

Great condition
Course was in great shape. Pace of play could have been better due to the high number of fivesomes on the course.
Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend this course.
Way to slow
It took over 5 hours to play 18 holes for just the two of us. Inexperienced players everywhere causing bottlenecks. Waited 5-10 minutes numerous times between holes just to tee off. Ww saw so many lost golf balls laying around everywhere it became a joke with us as to how bad the players must be all over the course. The management needs to spread out tee times to allow more room between players. I use to play this course years ago and it was amazing but just way too crowded now.
NEED TO GO BACK FOR 9 MORE
1ST TIME ON LANDA PARK - NEED TO GET A TEE TIME DURING THE WEEK SO I CAN GET IN 18 HOLES - COURSE IN GREAT SHAPE AND DEFINITLEY AFFORDABLE
