About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Nice Municipal Golf Course
The course was in relatively good shape considering the hot and dry weather that the area has had over the last 4 months. This is a nice challenging course worth playing again and the price cannot be beat.

Cart path only
The course is in decent shape considering drought, but because of that it is now cart path only. Greens were good as well as center of fairways everything else was little or no grass.
We appreciate your feedback on the course condition, and we apologize if the current drought has affected the grass coverage. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
Love this course
Play back and forth over and along the Comal River. Deer and geese everywhere. Satellite gps in the carts. Greens were in great shape. Overall conditions were good given the drought. Lots of challenging conditions. Take plenty of balls, LOL. Only downside this time was cart path only due to drought. Trying to preserve the fairways which is understandable. Just hit your ball close to the cart path, LOL.

Fun course
Definitely cannot hit driver off every tee water hazards on plenty of the holes. Good place to shoot low if you have a strong iron game. Greens were quick and rolled try to the lines.

Fav course
It was just way too hot. Got off on time and round in under 4 hrs. Course was baked but held up well. Green very fast but very true. My favorite place to play. Wanted to take a few minutes and jump in to the river but didnt

Always a good place to play
This is a course that will challenge the average player for sure! It’s always in great shape and pace of play is always good!
In the summer there’s a lot going on around the course with the park the river and Schlitterbaun all pretty busy but not a big distraction!
I really like this course and can’t wait to play it again!

Great time
Greens recovering from being aerated a couple weeks ago. Pace of play was excellent. A few fairways starting to brown from lack of rain/watering. Overall, a nice course for the price.
