Iron Horse Golf Course is laid out in the floodplain of Fossil Creek, an area loaded with woods and a railroad that divides the property into three tracts. When Dick Phelps designed the golf course he loaded it with par 4s that are over 400 yards. This track has only two par 5s, but you'll get your money's worth as they are virtually impossible to reach in two. Iron Horse's best hole is the 462-yard, par-4 third hole, which is generally a bogey hole for the average golfer.

Very good round
The course is in very good condition and especially after the recent renovations.
My only complaint is their prices. Not worth the $70 weekend rate. $50 is appropriate.
Weekday rates are slightly lower but too high in my opinion.
We will return if we get a hot deal.

Pleasant Surprise
Course was in really decent shape. Greens were, for the most part, smooth and quick. Some fairways were holding water but we’re in good shape. I will play there again

Fun course
This course is fun to play. Some challenging holes but not so hard to make it frustrating.

Good course to play
This golf course is in good condition and has been improved a lot. It went major renovation few years ago and is now an excellent alternative for the locals and visitors. I highly recommend it. The service is good with snacks at the course between holes 9 and 10. Try it.

You have to stay on the cart path on the whole back 9 holes,
