Osprey Point Golf Club - Hawk/Raven Course
About
Osprey Point Golf Club offers 27 holes of championship golf. The location of the three nine-hole courses was formerly used as farmland but after years of non-use, the landscape had become completely overgrown. The Parks and Rec Department of Palm Beach County transformed the terrain into a lush and scenic public course that offers three different 18-hole combinations. The department wanted it to be a certified Audubon International Classic Signature Golf Course, so they increased the acres of natural habitat, converted to more environmentally friendly grass, and instituted a number of environmental protection efforts. It is the first golf course in Florida to earn this designation. The Hawk/Raven Course is one of the combinations at the club. It has a player-friendly layout that is made even more approachable with five sets of tees.

Pristine
This is my fourth round at Osprey. I really enjoy playing here, it's like playing in a wildlife scancury. The fairways are not lined with condos or houses, nature lines the fairways.
The course is in great shape and well maintained. The course gets heavy play but you wouldn't know it. This place is well runned and managed, hats off to the staff.
Beautiful course and well worth the drive
Excellent course. Challenging but not overly so. Highly recommend it
worst starter ever!!!
This is a great golf course. The greens were quick and firm. The wildlife is amazing. However, the starter ruined our round. We had a 3:36 tee time. We were at the shack at 3:20 ready to go. The starter told us to wait until 3:36 and let a 4some of walkups and then a twosome of walkups go out ahead of us. We finally teed of at 3:45. The foursome was very slow and the front nine took 2:20 minutes. There was NOBODY on the course ahead of the foursome. No rangers were seen on the Hawk. We jumped over to another course for the back nine and played in 1:30 minutes. Saw several rangers on the Raven. None of them acknowledged a wave nor a HELLO! Very nasty staff for what is a gorgeous track. Thank god for the superintendent!!!
I will play again just because of the course. The staff badly needs retraining. What's the point of a teetime if the starter lets off anyone ahead of you?
Excellent course
Didn't know much about this course but wow, what a gem. It has 3 nines and we played the Raven and the Hawk. Fairways were in excellent condition, and although the greens were firm, they ran true. Facilities are excellent although the shop was disappointing and they could do so much more with this. Staff were also not overly friendly but don't let this put you off playing this excellent course.
Visually Challenging from the Tips....
Course was in great shape with a Country Club look. Fairways appeared small from the black tees. Par 3's were all long with 165 yrds. of forced carry. One of the best public courses I have played since moving to FLA.....
Greens rock hard
Course was in excellent condition give the amount od rain the day before. Even though I hit several greens, I never left a ball mark. One 8 iron hit to the green saw the ball bounce at least 4 feet high after landing on the green - and no it didn't hit a sprinkler head.
Spectacular!
Where to begin? Visually stunning with the sand as cart paths and the nature pushing up to the Everglades. You won't find any homes along the side of this course. The conditions were immaculate and picturesque. The starters are very helpful and even the food at the snack bar was great. The only negative I could possibly give if I had to was the pace of play was a bit slow but my friend and I didn't even notice the slower pace as we enjoyed the surrounding on each hole. I hope I can come back some day. Oh, and the summer rate? Can't beat it! 30 bucks after 11:30, are you kidding me? How amazing, great day in Boca Raton.
Great course and facility
Challenging course specially in a 2-3 club wind like the day we played. The course is in great shape, great layout and excellent green conditions.
The pace of play was a bit slow and the starter staff was disorganized, but yet friendly ...
The practice area is good with plenty of space and large chipping and putting greens.
MI Snowbirds
We have played almost 30 public courses in the last 3 months and Osprey Point is one of the two or three best in Palm Beach and Broward counties.
First Timer
Loved this course! Played the Hawk & Raven, the course was in great shape and really enjoyed the surroundings. looking forward toplaying here again soon.
Nice Course
Played this course for the first time. Course was in great shape especially for the end of season. Greens are fast but roll true. The break you think you see as an amateur isn't there due to the speed. I will definitely play it again wjen i come back tjis summer.
Golfing in the nature
The course Raven/Hawk was in excellent condition! Lush fairways and greens, lovely scenery. The greens were fast. Very enjoyable to play. The pace on the first 9 was slow, second fine with overall 4.5 hrs for the 18. The price was right. Highly recommend
