Course I’m good condition considering recent weather some greens pitted in places others very good only disappointment club house wasn’t open when we arrived at 9am looking forward breakfast before playing

After reading so many good reviews. I was really looking forward to playing here.

Positives

- lady in the club shop was lovely and helpful.

- nets and practice putting area were good.

- challenging par 3’s. Most over 200 yards. Card wrecker if not played carefully.

- good mixture of par 3, 4 & 5 holes.

Negatives

- SLOWEST round of golf I’ve ever played in my life. It took two of us just under 5 hours to complete the round! Waiting 10-15 minutes to play each shot just isn’t acceptable on any course.

- constant annoying background music from a local fair. I believe someone else has mentioned this. Ray-Von didn’t

stop for the whole 5 hours of the round. Shabbbbba.

- soft, muddy fairways when we’ve had next to no rain for a week or two? I wouldn’t like to think what it’s like after a week of rain.

- patchy greens. Most looked like a practice area with replaced divot marks all over them.

Overall we were severely disappointed and unfortunately won’t be back. Nearly 5 hours to finish the round, a banging headache from Ray-Von and balls plugging when we’ve had decent weather just make me want to rush back.

Great course in fantastic well kept condition. A good balance of challenge and every hole with something different to play rather than similar straight holes you can find at some other local courses. Some tight tee shots through tree lines, challenging water and green lies and a great approach shot at (I think) the 16th onto elevated green to test your strategy.

Clubhouse is good, decent selection of food and drink afterwards with outside balcony, lcoker rooms and cleaning equipment. All in all great value and one of the best in local area. Will definitely be coming back regularly

Great course. A test of golf for every level.

One of my favourites have played many times.

It was our first time playing here and initial impressions were good when looking at the clubhouse and putting green from the car park. The first few holes are pretty underwhelming but as you make your way around the course there are plenty of varied holes, interesting tee shots and challenging par 3s. The hazards certainly make you think about your shots and it is not just a grip it and rip it course. The bunkers were fine considering the weather and the greens ran well and true. Work should be done to tidy up the tee boxes to elevate the course. Overall, this is a good golf course and we will come back. It is well priced too.

Great layout, good condition given the rain in the previous two weeks. Consistent and well kept greens. Needed the extra balls that I took,.. the water traps got me a couple of times.

Was pleasantly surprised by this course. Water came into play on a good number of holes but if yuo were good enough then you didn’t get wet!

The layout was very good and the greens excellent - ran very true. Fairways in great condition and pace of play good. All in all a great and enjoyable round of golf.

This was the first time I played the course I had no expectations of what I would find. On arrival, the car park was busy but still had plenty of space and was adequate for the course. In the pro shop, the lady behind the counter is very professional and helpful in explaining the club rules and expectations on the layout of the course. To the round now, unfortunately, most of the bunkers ground under repair, and not playable and some of the hole markers around the tees were badly situated for their tees. The layout of the course was interesting with some excellent design holes and the greens were in excellent condition. I would highly recommend this course for its overall layout and condition and value for money was excellent.

Played this course earlier in the week. Really interesting course and really nicely laid out. Fairways and greens good. One little grumble guys, bit too much bird muck on the course. Bit frustrating if you play a decent shot and find yourself in the middle of it with no way to play!! Overall though good and would play again.

Seen the sign many times for this course then when it popped up on Golf Now thought me and my friends would give it a go! Greens were superb although bone dry due to the weather, general layout was very nice ! Definitely be back as only local !
