Ian Todd
My first time here and what a pleasure it was to play the course. Aesthetically pleasing even in the depths of winter and in great condition. One’s first impression is of a club that is well run with courteous staff and very reasonable fees for visitors. Bunkers are mercifully few but the beautiful water hazards will swallow you up like a ravenous woman should you dare to flirt with them. I can’t wait to take that risk again.
Good round of golf
This was the first time playing here and we really enjoyed it. Not the longest course but the narrowness of the fairways made it a challenge. Also the water traps are really well placed to catch u out. Getting boggy in some places but that's to be expected this time of year. Only payed £10 on golf now but already looking forward to going back in the summer and paying full price.
Best condition in the area
Absolutely stunning course it’s nice and flat so you’re not shattered by the end of it. Greens and fairways Al were spot on, tee boxes need a little bit of work but not enough to worry about. Nice layout and easy to figure out. Greens were quick and spot on I will be back
Spot on
Played on a Thursday afternoon was millionaires golf felt like I had the course to myself. Greens were in superb condition and fairways were well kept. Can’t fault it I will be back
Hidden Gem
Booked this course whilst attending a wedding at the nearby Carden Park. Having already played Carden Park previously, I was put off by the £95 green fee so decided to look elsewhere and came across Aldersey Green. The course is relatively long, with testing tight tee shots on many holes, fairways and greens were both in immaculate condition. Overall this course was a better challenge than Carden Park and significantly better value for money, couldn't recommend it enough.
Nice course, well kept
Busy day and showed on the course with a few waits on the tee offs but no-ones fault. Well maintained and staff polite and helpful.
Fair course
The course was in very good condition, fairways were neat, green had good run.
It's a fair course if you keep it in play but stray from the tee and a big score is easily ran up. Some long ish par 3's which keep you honest but also a par 5 reachable in 2. All in all its a great course
Enjoyed play course great condition
Good mixture of holes 3/4/5!par real nice course great greens hole you have think how to would gladly play again must try course
Beautiful Course!
I would highly recommend this course. It's very beautiful and is well laid out, which makes it challenging but not in a stupid way. The greens were extremely difficult though, very hard in impact but maybe down to the weather recently. They are deceiving on the turns.
Really enjoyable and challenging course
Never played Aldersey Green before, and was very pleasantly surprised. Some fantastic holes, and the greens were the most consistent of any course I've played in the region.
A tricky course with some unforgiving rough and plenty of water to be considered.
Take plenty of balks
1st time there, and i was pleasently surprised on what a gem of a course and out the way! Staff were very freindly and instructive! Course layout overall very goid and well signposted to tees etc..However its a tough course, very tight to place your ball from your drives as lots of blind hazards and plenty of water and trees! Hence why i said you need plenty of balls! I lost a fair few today! Would i go back? Absolutley...Now i have knowledge of the course. Oh and the par 3s are spot on! I loved them. Give it a go and judge it for yourself....
Challenging course in great condition.
Thoroughly enjoyed every part of my day here, everything was top notch.
