A cracking deal
This is the second time I’ve played the course. Great layout with bit the 9th and 18th finishing at the Clubhouse. All holes have different elements to them and the greens were great, receptive and rolled well. It can be tight in places but a good test of golf for all handicaps. Will be coming again as it’s an enjoyable place that flows easily. Great value for money from a pricey area.
Pretty as a picture
Never heard of this course. But it’s a hidden gem in the Cheshire countryside. A must for all golfers and incredible value for money. It’s tight, and you should expect to lose a ball or two, but it’s worth it. Every hole is unique and pretty as a picture. The staff were very friendly and with a good sense of humour. Even though its 45 minutes from me, I’m thinking of joining!
Aldersley Green
Extremely friendly staff, excellent BLT before the round.Course in excellent condition which is a credit to the green keepers.
Lovely summer round
Played this excellent course today in beautiful weather. Course in Great condition with very little course traffic. Would recommend to anyone. Excellent value and a lovely round.
Rainy bank holiday
Beautiful course.
This was my first visit to this course and although the weather was terrible we really enjoyed playing the course. Staff were helpful and greens in great condition.
Very well kept
Course in excellent condition, only problem was a single player held us up as we were a four ball this was a pain as he would not let us play through. Only thing thing that spoilt a brilliant afternoon of golf
Great course, very slow play
Great course, long par 5s, variety of par 3 and 4 lengths, cruel hazards but forgivable. The greens were in super condition to attack pins and it was a carpet to putt on.
Beware of the goose's and birds
Four fellas Infront of us even with 2 buggys took so slow to get around and didn't let us through. Used to going around 18 in around 3 hours anywhere else, but today was over 4!
Didn't get chance to have a beer or food, maybe next time. Looked nice though.
Aldersey Green after Lockdown
Great round at a course not been before.
Course in beautiful condition with challenging holes set in lovely countryside. Well looked after and clubhouse friendly and helpful, everything you’d want to make a great days Golf, with a socially distanced San Miguel to finish off the day .
Testing course and layout
Challenging 18 holes with plenty to think about. It’ll keep you coming back to improve.
2 ball 8/4/21
Great value for money. £21 inc fee. Course in great condition. Surprisingly quiet. Can’t comment on the off course facilities, as, due to Covid, nothing was open.
Would 100% recommend
Early season acceptable issues
Only the second day of play after reopening from lockdown so very very busy and slow (4.5 hours). Decent condition but still wet in places . Greens were reasonable. .
Unfortunately couldn’t enjoy a pint afterwards but maybe next time .
Worth a visit , very rural setting with some interesting holes .
Decent greens and little else
The property is flat and boggy. Superficial fairway ripples do little to spice up shot making on what is a predictable and narrow tree lined course. The greens provide the only real value for money as the majoirty of fairway shots plug. Bare patches in the fairway and first cut made my clubs muddy on many shots. My sympathies are with the greenkeepers as the site always will be a poor one.
Positives are the course is pretty from a distance and the greens aren't bad (except for the number of pitch marks per hole). Negatives include pace of play (my three ball clocked in just short of five hours), plugged lies and lack of natural features making the holes repititve.
For a smiliar price point I would recommend Malkins Bank.
