Fun to play
One the better public courses in the area. Interesting layout, very good conditions and fair.

Good conditions for July
Greens were in decent shape (little dry and overused), but it’s a popular course so what can you expect. Course layout is challenging, definitely not boring. The snack shack is great and a nice touch on a 100 degree day. Fairways were firm and fast but not too hard (able to take a decent divot). I’ll be back. And the practice area is top notch!

No hydration available!
The course is in great shape! However, the snack bar was closed at the turn and there was no cart girl to provide drinks or snacks on the course. This was very frustrating and exhausting. I brought a thermos of water but it was gone well before I finished. Very poor attention to your seniors and other players! Very disappointing.

The course was in great shape today! A few greens had burn marks but these were generally on the periphery of a green. Otherwise, the greens are in great shape! Fairways were generally very good. The sand traps needed to be raked by ground crew since no rakes are available. You are doubly penalized if you hit a bunker with divots and footprints all through the bunker. Otherwise this was a very enjoyable experience! We will be back!

Nice course with some challenging holes
Formerly a semi-tricked up Chase Oaks GC went through various struggles and was eventually rebuilt and owned by the city of Allen (in spite of sitting in Plano).
See if you can score a par or better on the 6th hole here.

Great 9 hole course but,
I have a group of seniors that play the 9 hole every week. The course is great however the current restrictions in the COVID-19 Virus limits the number of carts available for the 9 hole (to 10). This is a problem for one of our seniors who cannot walk. Some weeks there are plenty of carts for the 18 Hole ( 25 plus) that are not allowed for use on the 9 hole.

This is a great place to just enjoy playing the game of golf. Nice, wide fairways and the greens were fantastic. Very fair course.
