First time here, definitely play it again. Nice layout, good pace, freindly staff. You will not be disappointed.
Another great day at WC-T
This time of year it's hard to complain about Waters Creek Traditions. It rained in the morning and threatened all afternoon which made the greens over responsive, not a bad thing though. The bunkers were a bit packed after the rain and of course no rakes due to Covid, but still played well. Fairways are great right now and roughs are plush. Two doubles on the front and still shot 80, fun day.

Great pace of play for DFW area
I’m relatively new to the DFW area but have played many courses in North Dallas. This one is definitely the most mature - with large trees and a wonderful meandering layout criss-crossing Watters Creek. The course seem well watered, which is an issue I’ve see at other public courses I’ve played in the area. Due to the mature trees, the devastating wind I’ve become accustomed to over here wasn’t nearly as bad - although it still certainly plays a factor in your round. This layout was enjoyable, and even with COVID-19 precautions in affect, we still felt well accommodated, with multiple passes by “The Turn” concessions stand. Pace of play was great for what I’m used to out here. We got paired with another twosome and let a twosome through around the 6th hole - other than that, we never had issues with waiting on others, or others waiting on us. We finished the round as a foursome at under 4 hours.

Great time!
The layout of the course Is unique and great. It has some challenging holes that make you think.
Very windy and that added to the challenge, but it was fun. Will do this again soon

Course was in great shape. Pace of play was good. One of my favorite places to play.

Great value
Very good layout, great condition and good pace of play, groups are going out 16 minutes apart which is better than other courses around. Enjoyed it, Just wish I was hitting it better as it has lots of creeks and you can lose lots of ball. Cheers

Super nice!
Very laid back golfing day. Course is going through a few preparations for spring but overall it was in great shape. Greens need a little TLC but its Texas and thats a tough thing this time of year.

Survived the winter as a star
Your average player doesn't understand how difficult it is to maintain a course during a North Texas winter.. That don't understand the amount of work and water so it recovers in the Spring.
The staff at Watters have done a fantastic job of keeping the Traditions Course very playable.

Pace of play always slow
Really want to say I love this course. Facilities are great. However, the pace of play is just unacceptable. I’ve played the course three or four times. Mostly on the weekends. It’s not unusual for the first 9 to take more than 3 hours. Could be the course layout. Or perhaps it’s just too many tee times. If this improves I will be first to recommend. Otherwise, don’t play unless you have plenty of time and patience.

Perfect challenge
Enjoyed my round immensely. Played alone on a cold, windy winter's day. Lots of water and trees. Plenty of fairway room. Greens quite slow. Nice test of golf.
