Great course
Very nice course well maintained slow ish greens slightly sandy still.
Value for money
Conditions were fantastic, the rain seems to have really helped the fairways. Great value as always.
Good all around experience
Good friendly club with good facilities and greens kept in great condition
Challenging in parts
Front 9 very wide fairways and easy to play but the back 9 water comes into play along with some strategically placed bunkers. Greens in good condition and challenging. Overall enjoyable although a tad confusing where to go on occasions.
Great for all levels
This is a great course for all abilities with plenty of forgiveness on fairways but also some challenging holes. Plus the greens are always in top condition.
Save your energy
The back nine are far more challenging than the front, especially as you tire!
Great Value Twilight Golf
Played today for £25! Unbelievable value. Course in good condition considering the recent lack of rain. Tee boxes are pretty barren and lumpy. Everything else spot on. It played quite long in the wind but on a calm day I felt like you could get a good score here. Practice facilities very good.
Impossible to play.
Use to be a member here many years ago things have changed but not so to speak. Better facilities off the course ie bar, changing rooms etc, but the course itself is just unplayable it's like trying to play links golf on a parkland course, appreciate we have had a dry winter but it's turning into a dust bowl already the greens are just like concrete you can't feel your way around the course nor putt on the greens just not an enjoyable experience, play else where I would suggest as things are only going to get worst as the season goes on.
Well tended
The drive through the big electric gates and the uneven car park might have you reassessing your choices. But don’t be fooled the course is lovely. Well maintained course, tee boxes were in good nick and the fairways and greens were spot on. Well done Aylesbury Vale.
Well worth a visit
Entry to the course was via the largest security gate I have come across so far! Friendly staff in the pro shop gave me advice on course conditions and layout. It’s a fairly long course but has wide inviting fairways. Greens were a little firm due to the cold weather, but appeared to be in good order. Members were friendly and allowed me to play through with little delay. Overall a positive experience. Didn’t venture into the clubhouse so can’t comment on the facilities.
