Decent course nice greens. Good challenge for new golfers. Will play here again soon.

Everything about this course was perfect. The only thing I could say about is it is a shame the clubhouse closes so early as after game pint would’ve been nice.

Look, I get that a random guy playing a 1 ball probably isn’t what 3 old timers want to see rocking up, but I was spoken to like dirt by 2 groups of what I can only assume are regulars.

Lots of nice people there too don’t get me wrong, just really put a sour taste in my mouth over the first 9.

Anyways the course is in good nick, green are lovely, shot 88 so was reasonably happy. Only lost 2 balls as the fairways tend to pass each other so just don’t get it wet and you will be grand!

Lady on the desk reminded me of Roz from Monsters Inc.

I played Western Turville with a friend and after reading several poor reviews I was pleasantly surprised by how good the course was. The major issues I found were with the bunkers which are not being maintained. Many bunkers had grass growing in the sand and the edges of the bunker are not being maintained. Given the reacent weather the fairways where burnt off, which I expected, but were still playable. The tee boxes where rough in places with sparce grass areas, the club could do with seed boxes to allow players to repair divots, as there did appear to be sufficient watering going on. The other major problem were poor signs showing where the next tee boxes were. The are several where you have to walk past other greens and tees to get to the next tee which without signs made it extreemly difficult and resultin in us having to ask other golfers where to go several times. Having signs on the exit of each green giving dirrections would make this much easier. Alternative wouid be to have a decent map on the score card with directions.

The greens were in excellent conditions with only a few grassless area. Overall I enjoyed the round and

Ever wondered where all the traffic is going middle of the day in the midweek? Well it's probably going here to play golf. Backed up isn't the word. So so slow.

Course in good nick for the drought.

Enjoyable course to play on with wide spaces to help with shots.

It was a pleasant surprise to find how enjoyable it was playing on this course. I was guided by a very good friend who plays here. If there is one observation to make it is that signage to the next hole be made clearer.

I will be playing here again. ⛳️

First time playing at weston enjoyed the course. Greens we're well looked after considering the hot weather we've had. Friendly staff will be back. Andy

Stunning course and considering how dry it’s been it was in amazing condition! Extremely helpful members and the lady at the counter also. Will be returning on my next visit!

Very easy to lose your ball even on the fairways. Just needs better maintenance. Everyone in our group thought the same.

Played for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately no driving range/field, but they did have nets, a chipping green and bunker, and putting green. Very nice long and straight holes, with some tricky par 3s. The greens can be super tricky with aggressive slopes and some two tier greens too. The grass was on the longer side, with some very punishing rough.

Sadly the clubhouse was closed when we finished at 6pm, so couldn't enjoy a drink afterwards. The clubhouse is a little tired, but surprisingly had a very nice changing room and bathroom.

Definitely recommend playing here, especially if you can get a good deal.

Lovely course. Layout is a little unintuitive but with some fantastic holes and great greens.

Really liked playing here and I am definitely coming again.

We played before a small competition group which slowed down the pace a lot. Some holes cross each other fairways which means you have to wait for the hole ahead of you to finish.

But great course

Liked the course having been a bit sceptical. Thinking about being a flexi member.

I will probably steer clear of this course for a while. There were 18 tee mats ,which i knew about, but it is still unusual to find this. Some fairways were very muddy in places which made it feel like hard going. Also when i went to use the air pressure gun to get the mud off my shoes and trolley wheels after the round it wasn't working. Greens were mediocre to putt on.

The lady in the bar/shop was very helpful when i phoned to ask to move my tee time back after i got delayed ,

I will probably return when the grass tees are back in play.

Course was solid overall, fairways could’ve been cut shorter but I guess that was because of the weather conditions. Only downside was the bunkers were full of weeds.

7/10 would go again

Staff always super friendly, course layout is very good with wide fairways in places but stray balls will hit well placed copses, bunkers, ponds and ditches. 19th is great with a good array of drinks and cakes to enjoy on the terrace twixt the 11th and 12th. 9.5/10.

Good course for the money. Not amazing but for the price it’s perfect
