Good value for money
Seems like a nice course for beginners. Not fancy but seems reasonably well kept. Sure there are dog walkers every now and then but they also seem respectful to golfers.
Chingford Golf Course
A really good round of golf, staff very good, course in good condition, but did have to wait on a few holes.
It would be nice if a mobile drinks caddie came round or a halfway house for refreshments
Great course very playable
Booked a fourball and we all enjoyed the course. Well maintained, greens and fairways were in good condition. Will definitely play again
Good course, shocking members
I can only comment on front 9 as we have up after 9 due to 4 men taking 2.5hours to play nine holes. MATCH PLAY!!
at one point we waited on the same fairway as them while we waited for them to look for a ball. We were a two ball. They didn’t even consider letting us through. They lost 2 holes on the other 4 ball infront of them.
Will not return due to the lack of etiquette. Apparently one of them was a course manager!! Real shame.
Decent course, Better Value
Decent course and very accessible if, like me, you live in London and don’t have a car. Greens are well kept and some interesting and challenging holes. Most annoying thing is the sheer amount of non-golfers who walk through the course … 2 mother’s and their child having a picnic on the 9th hole fairway about 200 yards on from the tee…
Great condition public course
In excellent condition, tight and pretty challenging course for learners and improvers, sharpens your game nicely, important to manage the course as rough and woodland is unforgiving. Beware dog walkers and ball collectors.

Staff very abrupt and unfriendly.
Course a bit scruffy in plsces but generally ok.
Pace very slow but to be expected on pay and play course. Greens generally good despite the traffic they must get. Overall a satisfactory casual round of golf with my wife. Won on the fourtenth which makes a change.
Nice for first time
It’s was a great course just wish they had sign post where the next tee is as for a first time the course you can get lost
Great course for a low price
Very nice course for the price. Whilst it is not overly long suiting big hitters, wide fairways and a lack of bunkers holes make it friendly but also challenging enough for all levels.
Greens are in fairly good condition, although many people do not seem to repair pitch marks which makes for bobbly greens on some holes.
Overall a little gem for the golfer on a budget.
Good value for money.
Excellent Golf course and well laid out.
The course is set in a public park, so you will come across non-Golfers walking on the course.
Nothing serious to bother one's Game.
Great value for money
Had a great day, fab value for money, course is enjoyable with plenty of woods along fairly wide fairways, greens are not great, but they do not spoil the day. You do get a lot of dog walkers which sometimes you have to be a little careful. Highly recommend...
Another enjoyable round at Chingford, but...
I enjoyed my round despite the course being really busy. Pace of play rolled along but was slower than normal (I think there were a few beginners out there!) Fairways were nice and dry and generally the condition was good. It was just a shame the greens weren't up to there normal excellent standard (they normally are really good here but had a few patches). Players MUST repair their pitch marks though - come on everyone!
Scored 79 and will def play again.
