Forest Creek Golf Club

I have played this course 25 times over the years and it is always a challenge no matter when I have played... Multiple risk reward holes and it's a beautiful layout. Greens had just been punched and had a few dead spots but over all course played well. If you but the right shots you can score well here if you miss hit it will eat you up... Meaning even a great Drive, or approach will leave you a rambling for Par because you have to play most of the holes as designed and out we'll to get a good score.

Greens were just punched yesterday so putting sucked, avoid playing here for a few weeks unless you like putting with sand on the greens and your ball bounces around.

What is super lame is they sent an email on Tues saying they punched the greens yesterday. This makes no sense, this email should of been sent a week out or at least the day before saying they punched the greens, then i wouldn't have booked a tee time. I also tried to talk to staff about this but they didn't care, poor customer experience.

The course was well-maintained and the beer was cheap. Draft beers were 2.50 a pop Memorial Day weekend. Let’s just say those beers led to a few errant shots, especially on the par 3s. There are a few challenging holes given the numerous water hazards. Overall, it was very enjoyable to play this course.

Third time to play here. It will continue to make our must play list when we visit Austin!! Beautiful first class public course will all the amenities to support it! Staff members are so happy and helpful. Everyone's happy to be at Forest Creek!

Every single staff person I encountered was friendly and helpful. Marshal drove by multiple times - and voila, pace of play was good - love that! Course conditions were good, despite some rough patches on the edges of most holes. The greens were in great shape and rolled true. Overall a great experience.

I love playing Forrest Creek. Staff are friendly and helpful. Course is always in great shape and it’s a fun track to play.

Overall the course was phenomenal. Greens were maintained very well. Trash bins at every hole made it easy to throw trash away. Fairways were very green and well maintained. Something every good golf course should do that I haven’t seen much of in the area was that the carts had a full display. GPS, electronic scorecards, and Bluetooth for music. Only thing I would say is we stopped at the turnaround to grab drinks and food. It put us a little behind on the time so the cart kept screaming at us but we didn’t have to wait on anyone all day nor did anyone have to wait on us. It’s so well priced and I would come here over a lot of the courses in the area. The drink carts were always around it seemed like so you never sat and wondered when the next one was coming through. This course definitely is in my top 3 within a 25 mile area.

The conditions were adequate considering a week of wet weather preceded our round. Some very interesting holes and some gimmicky one as well. Without knowing where the creeks ran made for several surprises on drives that were found in the penalty areas. Shaggy tee boxes weren’t a problem but we’re surprising to discover. Id play it again.
