Teravista Golf Club
About
Despite its Hill Country setting, Teravista Golf Club has more of a links feel, with wide-open fairways and casually rolling mounds. About 60-70 white bunkers spot the layout, and water comes into play on 14 holes. No. 17 is the no. 1 handicap, playing a long 443 yards from the tips. The hole bends left toward a kidney-shaped green that is surrounded by three bunkers. Teravista G.C. offers a beginner-friendly tee box that plays only 3,744 yards, making it enjoyable for any skill level. The National Golf Course Owners Association has dubbed this 18-hole Clifton-Ezell-Clifton design a "Beginner Friendly Course."

The staff at the golf course are rude.
The golf course itself was in great condition, but the staff were unfriendly and the customer service was disappointing.
Way Overpriced. Range tee boxes / mechanisms do not work well. Range balls should be included when you pay $75+ for a tee time, this tee time was over $140/pp even when the greens were freshly punched. Layout is fine, some houses are very close to the fairways, tee boxes, and greens.
Could be great
Beautiful course, but not maintained well enough. The sand traps had pools of water inside and the greens had a ton of sand off them.
Mid week twilight round
The pace of play was good, about what we expected for 3:30 PM on Tuesday afternoon. I do like this course I’ve played it many times. I don’t understand why they don’t fix the sand traps. No sand in any of them and 3/4 of them are full of water so that you hit your ball into them and you lose your ball in the muddy water. No GPS on the carts and no free range balls. Star Ranch and Forest Creek have them beat there. The greens rolled true and were in good shape, nice and soft and receptive with all the wet weather we have had.
Don't go after it rains.
Nice corse overall. We went the day after a rain. The sand traps were turned into water hazards. Balls hit down the middle of the fairway would disappear. Must have lost a dozen or more that were not hit into normal water hazards. It's a nice course otherwise.
Beautiful course
The course was challenging and I like courses like this a lot of water a lot of sand make makes sure have to play a good shot off the tea. I would recommend this to any of my friends and family if they’re in the area.
Jewel in central Texas
Greens were tight and well managed. Challenging holes throughout the round. Few drainage or overrun problems and nearly none in regulation. Play consistent hole to hole and a few surprises that make me want to go play again. Well organized and in anod out of pro shop on under five minutes Don’t tell anyone 🤣
Teravista
Listen -- I know I'm not supposed to be in the bunkers, but that's no excuse for crappy ones. Golfers who have a basic knowledge of playing a bunker shot get a little peeved when the shot that's called for causes the club to go skipping off the clay and skulling the ball either into the face of the bunker or halfway across the county if it gets enough air.
Too many chances with bad experience
I have never had so many rude people at one course. I’ve played here 3 times now and seems like their hiring methods are to hire rude grumpy people. I wouldn’t recommend this course
