Lovely staff. Beautiful location. Pure greens.
Loved this place...
I played 10 holes back to back because of the recent persistent rain so unfortunately i missed out on the back 8 holes as they had to remain closed.
The staff were so bloody lovely. They brought my tee time forward which allowed me to squeeze in 2 half rounds and it was nice warming up on the pitching area and for them to call me by my name. Very polite and professional.
What was also food to see is that there's clearly some focus on bringing juniors into the game as there was a lesson on whilst i was pitching.
Being able to see the sea whilst you're playing is amazing and the greens were both challenging (2 tiered sometimes and some elevated) and immaculate. Watch out for the eagles though. No wait...They're just kites on large poles on each green to scare off the seagulls I guess.
Honestly i loved it here. I just wish the standard of my golf had done the place justice. Would love to come back and play the full 18 some time.

Bone dry from tee to green
Was a bit surprised to be using temporary tees at the height of Summer. Speaks to lack of investment in sprinkler system. I saw ground staff watering the tees as I was leaving, but clearly this hasn’t been done regularly enough. I’d estimate that they have about 40% on temporaries. Otherwise the course was in okay condition, greens pretty average paced, but consistent. Friendly staff in the pro shop.
This course has some really great holes especially a couple of highly elevated tees

Very good course with two outstanding signature holes. Excellent staff. Waved through twice by friendly members. Loved it. Best course I've played in a long time.
