Croham Hurst Golf Club

Played this course with my brother. Saw it on Golfnow and it seemed reasonably priced. Saw that it had great reviews so thought we’d give it a go.

From the moment I went into the pro shop, I felt the friendliness of the place. Had a bacon roll and were even given a free cuppa! Thank you to the kind girl for that.

Going to the course, the first thing I noticed was the immaculate condition of the tee box. Bearing in mind we were playing during a period of poor weather, we got lucky on the day and the course drained beautifully. The fairways and greens were fantastic and true. The holes were pleasing to the eye and presented different challenges. We’re both mid handicappers and thoroughly enjoyed the day. We were supposed to be playing at Canterbury, but our old man in his 80s pulled out because of the rain down that way. However, we will be bringing him up to this little gem of a course in the spring to show him what we experienced. Thank you to all at Croham Hurst for a memorable day out. See you next year.

Very happy with the course all round. They recently had hollow tined, however the tee boxes were in good condition, fairways fair and once the greens recover you can tell they will be excellent. Doesn't hurt that the weather was pristine, and the addition of a water point on the course was very welcome aswell.

Course is in great shape. The greens were imaculate. The only issue we had was being stuck behind a 4 ball of old boys for 4 or 5 holes. They finally let us play through on the 8th. Very friendly and even borrowed a putter without an issue, thanks Adam.

This is a hidden gem , course is a decent track and the staff are very friendly .

Only downside is slow play .

The ladies have competition on a Tuesday and unfortunately it makes for slow play .as you can’t play through . So ended up as a 5 hour round 😩

We have played here several times and it has never disappointed. It’s a challenging course in parts and in great condition. Really good value for money.

Challenging course, greens quick & testing - really enjoyable to play, will definitely play again.

Fairways and greens really well looked after. And the staff in the club shop and bar really friendly. Top marks all round.

Played here with a buddy on a very sunny and quiet Thursday. The course was in pristine condition and we practically had it to ourselves. Went on to shoot my lowest round ever - Croham Hurst, a true inspiration!

Challenging course in very good condition. Nice combination of tough holes and a few easier ones. Friendly club pro and members. Fairly slow round but it was a nice afternoon so not too much of a problem. Minor quibbles around lack of sand in a few bunkers and difficulties in seeing yardage posts on some holes didn’t affect a very pleasant round
