Course should not be open

I bet the course is amazing out of winter months, but today it was a complete bog and frankly shouldn’t be open.

Wet conditions but still great round

Hi All, First time reviewer.

Played today on the Lakes Course at Five Lakes with my son, it was his first time on an 18 hole course.

Considering the down pour we have had recently in this area, with flood warning around, the course was amazing.

No temporary tees or greens on the whole course.

The ground staff have done a superb job keeping it playable.

Yes there were some boggy areas and some areas softer than normal but these didn't effect us at all, as they weren't in important playing areas.

Overall a superb round on a great course.

This course can deal with very wet weather and still be a challenge and fun game. Thankyou Five Lakes.

Bags of potential

Played the lakes off the back tees, well.. the ones that were still there. Lovely course and a great layout. Back 9 was noticeably better than the front. Greens were bumpy and slow but I'm assuming they had been spiked and sanded recently. All in all I really enjoyed the course, so many nice holes to play and look at. The one thing I would say it needs is money. It is a competitive market out there but if this just had an injection of money and care it could be a real top class venue challenging most to be the best

Good Overall Course

Overall the golf course is nice with a few challenging holes, however on the back 9 the greens were slightly disappointing with significant bobbles and very patchy in places.

Overall the course was a nice challenge and would recommend. Facilities off the course are also very good quality
