Whilst challenging, this 12 hole course is perfect for me as a beginner. I enjoy the challenge of blind shots, and the the lovely view of the Grand Union Canal. Some of the green and tee boxes could do with some work.

This is a short course however there are nothing missing from it, the course is in excellent condition all round, shame that the back 6 holes were reclaimed by the city robbing the once first class course of its former glory and 18 hole status.

I have no hesitation in recommending and playing this course

A pleasant course which was not overcrowded but some basic directional signs to the next hole would be useful. Only a couple of holes actually had signs to point to you to the next tee. Can’t be that difficult to put some signs up please.

Marvellous fun

I am returning to golf after an extremely long absence (over 10 years!). I’m very much a novice and this course provides a suitable challenge for me, though would entertain more experienced hands also. Plenty of longer holes for a bit of driver action, with some bends and one dog leg. Fairways in very good condition with smooth running greens. Enough space to be forgiving if you have the odd wonky shot (or more in my case!).

Played on a beautiful Sunday eve and never felt rushed, though was able to keep a good pace throughout. Staff interactions were limited, but a friendly chap came to give me my scorecard on the first tee - very relaxed and pleasant! Would like to try the clubhouse next time!
