Good value, Good Course
Nice selection of holes, decently challenging from some of the tees. Conditions arent great, but thats reflected in the price. Greens could be better maintained and some bunkers not particularly playable. It did rain the night before, but I imagine it would be tough in winter. Did not of queuing at tees playing as a single, maybe a few too many on the course at once. Definitely recommend for an affordable 18.
Value for money
Course is in the bounce back after some under funding, still needs work but the potential is clear. Still great value for money
Very poor conditions all round..
Played 18 at Haste Hill today...
Tee areas: the ground was very hard, very unkempt, uneven, pretty much no grass..
Fairways: could be better...baked fairways, average rough..
Greens: Ugly! Unkempt! Mini potholes all over almost EVERY GREEN!, I would say 15/18 greens were rock hard , uneven rolls, moss patches all over the greens, dry patches all over the greens..putts either got diverted passing over the potholes or they would run off being so dry & hard!
Used to be a regular player here 20yrs ago...it seems they have just let this course run itself into the ground with absolute minimum maintenance being done...shame really..
Greens are poor
Greens need attention. Bunkers need new sand.
Use to be a good public council course.

Course was decent. However, all the greens were not good and needs work done to them. Lots of dry patches and divot marks and smallish holes which made them very uneven and difficult to putt.

The course is in very bad condition the greens are terrible, hopefully the takeover will improve this course but currently it’s not worth wasting your money

A shadow of its former self
Firstly I can’t say I didn’t enjoy my round here, but compared to how it used to be it’s also fair to say it’s a shadow of its former self. Nice layout, but course maintenance is shocking.
Soggy course
Yesterday was not a good day to play here. The course was water logged, difficult to walk and move the trolly because of the mud. The ball tended to dig into the mud on impact. Ending up playing 9 holes only. Disappointing!
Mud Bath
Arrived at the course to be told the course was a little wet but they were allowing trollies so off we went. The course was sodden and unplayable and should not of been open.
On the plus side we must have found 20 plus balls that were plugged in the fairways. Not sure why it was open as it was a health risk.
A bit of challenge
Muddy conditions though the good weather allowed us a good time.
Quite challenging though with the balls dropping and being stucked each time.
