Lovely 9 hole course, not my first time playing and will definitely be back again. Lovely modern range. All it’s missing is a putting green. Great staff, great course and a great time

Played several times and excellent condition / facilities.

One criticism would be better signalling for 10-18 hole tee points (meaning the 1st/10th tee) and better organisation needed when you come round to tee the 10th (1st) if playing 18… always a little confusing when people tee for 1st 9 who has right of play!

Other than that it is an excellent course with 1st class facilities and staff…

This course is perfect for a golfer who is trying to improve their game. Readily accessible and a pleasure to play

Best 9hole we have played in a long time very challenging, greens are nice well maintained.

Only critic the tees need a bit of attention.

This is a lovely 9 holes course that I’ve played a few times. It’s not particularly testing but ok for a high handicapper like me.

My one negative comment relates to the state of the tee areas. Every tee area was littered with broken and discarded tees and they made the tee areas look uncared for. To make matters worse there were very few bins for people to dispose of their broken tees and other litter. I appreciate that people should clear up after themselves but without the bins there’s less incentive to do so.

Played here with friends from work and the course is kept in amazing condition! The geeens were perfect and well paced. Will definitely be returning 👍🏻

A great little course. Well maintained with great facilities. A slight uphill walk on each hole until you reach the 4th tee. Nothing too strenuous. Well worth a visit

Too much waiting between shots. Paid for 18 holes but walked in after 12 as there were too many people

We had a fantastic day at Hartford golf course. Conditions were good and the course was in great shape. It was challenging but very enjoyable, especially the par 3 5th and par 3 7th. Very happy to have found the green 1st time on both these holes.

Been twice very impressed both times definitely recommend to everyone who I know who plays golf good parking nice shop

After very heavy rain all week we didn’t know what to expect the condition of the course to be in so we were delighted to see the course in first class conditions with no standing water anywhere. The greens are the best we have played anywhere! Course is great for golfers of all abilities and one that all golfers can enjoy. Highly recommended.

Great course, very well looked after. Only downside was playing x2 9's. The course was slow but ok on the first 9, but the second 9 we were waiting around 10 minutes on each hole just to tee off. If anything could be improved slightly I would say tying in the second 9 players with the first hole players. Possibly a marshal on busy days? Didn't ruin a good day though!

Course was in brilliant condition especially the greens. Great value too. Clubhouse is superb also.

Played Hartford for the 1st with my youngest son. Course was in good condition considering the amount of rain we have had recently, greens very good and majority of fairways firm, just a few soft areas in places.

OK course if you want 9 holes, we played 18 which meant that you play the same holes, from the same tees twice, although we played Oranges Tees on 1st 9 and green on 2nd to give some variety.

My only slight criticism is not sure who has priority on the tee when we came to play 2nd nine holes. There was quite a big queue, but fortunately a 4 ball let us play 1st otherwise we would have been held up for about 25 minutes.

Also, I know it’s a pay and play course rather than members, but it was very apparent that hardly anyone repaired pitch mark on greens or divots on fairways. Not good in my view, plus didn’t seem to be any dress etiquette enforced and saw one three ball playing out of a single bag of clubs.

Just minor irritations but trying to install good habits with my son who is just starting out is difficult when others seem no5 to care.

Played course on a very windy day, as you would expect lower holes were sheltered but as you climbed the hill the windy conditions were more apparent. Course was playing firm with fast greens. Not a day for a high handicap player, but at least I gave it a go.
