Children and dog walkers
Started off with my golf partner hiring the first green and then had his ball pinched by two young girls while there father watched. A lot of dog walkers green tees could be sign posted better but an enjoyable round of golf.
Value for money
Read reviews and was dreading it. What a surprise. Excellent value for money. Had trouble finding the second tee and 7 th green otherwise piece of cake. Have paid 30 quid and played to wrong green before. Every course is dry and hard but for a tenner no quarms and would play again.
Course looking good.
The rough has been cut back quite a lot but maybe could be cut back a bit more.
The greens are good even with all this hot weather.
It’s a shame more people don’t play this course.
Keep up the good work!
After a few issues with the rough, the last time i played, i can say that they have sorted this now and the course is looking excellent.
The Greens are perfect, some areas are looking a bit brown but this can't be helped as the weather being so warm.
I would recommend anyone to go and have a go at this course, it's a little hidden gem.
I must say that the green keeper has worked so hard, the greens are amazing for this time of the year.
Yes the rouge hadn’t been cut but the amount of rain we have had the course was great.
This course is well worth a go get down there and support your local golf course
Played the course at Knights Grange, was a council course, but has now been taken over by Mack Golf.
The greens are so good for this time of the year, the rough was a bit long, but weather didn't allow this to be cut.
The staff are so friendly and couldn't do enough for you.
For the price i paid its a great course, please try it you won't be disappointed.
This ex municipal is now owned by Mack Golf, however they need to put in considerable work to make this a course regular club golfers who are visiting the area want to play.
Considering the course has recently had some work done on the greens ,the overall condition was good ,the staff were very friendly and warned me of the work before I played,it was good to see they had buggy facility's even though today it was to damp to use them. They could do with a few more amenities to encourage more people and societies to use the course.
Knights Grange 18 Hole
Course was interesting but the greens were shocking! Some kind of airiating treatment has left them very uneven and chewed up, on some greens the cut grass has just been left there. No yardage markers on the fairways and the tee box markers are simply lumps of concrete in some places. However staff were very friendly
Good Course,Great Value
Managed to get a round for a bargain £10. This is a cracking course, neatly kept and enough tests for the novice to low handicap golfer. Would definitely go again.
Mainly Flat Course
This course had poor signage form Green to Tee.
Tee markers need replaced.
I would not play the course again
Value for your money !!
Extremely friendly receptionist and a quick 18 holes..
I have played at a number of golf courses recently and have to say the course at Knights Grange, in particular the greens are in super condition. The staff were also very professional and helpful. highly recommended
Work being done to the greens and bunkers need rakes and weeding
in fact we agreed with ourselves that if we went into a bunker we could have a free drop, that isn't golf I know but we classed the back 9 bunkers unplayable...
