Haste Hill Golf Club

Yesterday was not a good day to play here. The course was water logged, difficult to walk and move the trolly because of the mud. The ball tended to dig into the mud on impact. Ending up playing 9 holes only. Disappointing!

Arrived at the course to be told the course was a little wet but they were allowing trollies so off we went. The course was sodden and unplayable and should not of been open.

On the plus side we must have found 20 plus balls that were plugged in the fairways. Not sure why it was open as it was a health risk.

Muddy conditions though the good weather allowed us a good time.

Quite challenging though with the balls dropping and being stucked each time.

Played on Sunday, fairways are uncut and it’s like a mud bath due the fairways being too long and holding water, unfortunately after many years of playing a course to see it now is very sad.

No one should pay more money than £10 a round until the mess is sorted out, should it rain the course will be big.

Well kept course. Friendly and attentive staff. The greeenkeepers helped me to navigate it as well. While they were busy with the upkeep. Will recommend and head back with friends.

Have played here many times throughout the years. Sadly the condition is in decline, with a temporary green in the height of summer (which we were not informed about). £28.50 feels overpriced for this given that lots of the greens were inconsistent and slow. Realistically has a good layout and in good condition would be worth the price.

This coarse except the eight which is under repair, is in absolute top condition from the fairways to the greens.

Course in good condition staff friendly over all a very good day out

Enjoyed this course played a 4 ball where ,told of at the 10 th hole that you are not allowed to stop for tea at the restaurant which seemed a bit weard as we where not holding any body up and the course seemed quite may the restaurant and the golf management need to look at this issue didn’t cause mich problem all seemed unnecessary , was looking forward to doing the same thing

Took a hot deal on Golf Now and thought value for money was very good. Course laid out nicely and although fairways and rough a little long, generally good condition. Greens reasonably true. Lady at the pro shop was very apologetic about the 8th being a temp green due to vandalism. This did not spoil an enjoyable round. You will find nicer courses but value for money at Haste Hill is excellent.

Played a few years ago and enjoyed the round. Was prewarned about hole8 and 10 so no issues. Also was told the rough is a little long and they weren’t wrong! Made ball spotting a challenge but considering that we were a 2 ball and finished the 18 in just under 4 hours. Some really long par 5 holes really challenging!

Will play again. And got a fantastic special rate via the app.
