Disappointed
Played early afternoon so a reduced green fee , but the buggies hire was £10 more than the green fee . To be fair the staff were very welcoming. Not having played here before it would have been good to know it only 12 holes.
Some interesting holes but the greens are poor .
Its as if someone found some wasteland and tried to make a golf course on it .
First and last time playing here , o and almost £6.00 for a pint of fosters is city prices .
.
Good course ✅
Well layed out course, challenging in places and very good value
Round with brother
Had yet another great experience at this course. The ease of booking & the friendliness of all staff (club shop, greenskeepers & cafe/bar), paired with an excellently maintained course, gave my brother & I a wonderful round.
Great Value
Good course for the money. Tee boxes could be more clearly marked and sign-posted
Great Morning of Golf
Booked the course online for my brother & I to play 12 holes. Arrived early but was told could go ahead if wanted to & that the next booking wasn't for 30 minutes. This allowed us to have a leisurely & hassle free round. The course is immaculate, the fairways & greens superb. I hadn't played for about a year & noticed how well the course had been maintained since my last visit. After our game, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast to round off a perfect morning. Club shop & cafe staff friendly & helpful.
10/10 Well done Uxbridge.
Great value
Course has a good layout but could do with some effort from the green keepers, greens and fairway are fine but rough is too long and bunkers are awful. Pro shop staff are very friendly and the bar is great, sat outside watching the sun go down, fantastic views!
Best 12 hole course around!
Despite HS2 disrupton this is a great value course - well maintained, challenging and amazing value.
Very hilly
Loads of slopes, hills and is a test for anyone.
Great course overall !
Lovely course
A cracking short course with nicely interlayed holes. The course is feeling rhe weather at the moment and running fast.
Staff in both the proshop and bar are really nice and super friendly.
A great place for a round and exceptional value.
Great Value for money
Now that the winter is over the course is now in good shape. Greens in good nick and if you get the “hot deals” like I did £6.99 is a bargain. Will definitely play again.
First time visitor
The course was in great nick considering the winter it had. Could do with some sand in bunkers and tee box numbering signs but other than those small details it was great.
Stall were super friendly and took the time to explain the course layout to a first time visitor.
Excellent value for money.
Great experience
I love this course. Challenging with a varied degree of difficulty on all holes. From the sloping fairways that need perfect placement to enable GIR. Challenging if you veer sightly of the main course. Long par 4’s makable par 3’s. Can’t wait to try the holes currently closed.
Pleasant surprise
First time playing what I thought would be a straightforward short course. Was I wrong. Challenging holes varying in great short par 3’s with some long par 5’s and pretty tough par 4’s. Some of the holes were looking pretty stunning as well as daunting looking up the 500 yard fairway with a couple of doglegs thrown in. For the money an excellent choice of course. Shame it’s only 12 holes.
Awful maintenance ruins an otherwise good course
Let’s be clear, you can’t expect much for a £10 round. However, it is such a shame that the drainage is so poor that the whole place is a big, and the grass looks like it hasn’t been cut in months. Inches long grass on the fairway and genuinely foot long 1st cut. A real shame, as the layout and holes are pretty interesting.
A course we like but in the worst condition we have known it
Greens very uneven and full of unrepaired divots, many of which I attempted to repair.
Fairways uncut and barely distinguishable in parts from light rough.
Boggy in parts, which probably can not be helped.
Overall experience saved by a gorgeous day.
