A tricky course
Very enjoyable round of golf, other than the hard slopping fairways
Terrible
The course has hit rock bottom.
Tee boxes - no grass, just dust/mud
Greens - majority are diseased
Bunkers - not raked, filled with stones or GUR
Total disgrace of a course. Very sad to see its decline. Not worth £5. What a shame that Everyone Active, who manage the course have allowed this to happen under their watch.
Very bad course
Worst course I’ve played. Everything about it was below average. The course condition was a joke, loads of unfinished work all throughout the course. Greens were in terrible condition. The course layout is so bad and you’ve got so many par 3’s you can’t even see the flag on so you are guessing roughly as to where to hit the ball. Shocking price for the standard of course
Awful! Not worth a tenner let alone £23
Played Ricky many times, this is the worse I’ve seen this course in 10-15 years by a country mile. The course condition is like a dumping ground. Bunkers with lumps of concrete and stones everywhere (half out of play).
The greens are one of the worse greens I’ve ever seen on a golf course. There’s about 15/20 pin positions on each green which is alright if you’ve got a green keeper who can repair them efficiently not have them sticking an inch above the green. I’ve attached pictures to show how poor the greens have been maintained if you could even call it that. One of the hole cuts is on the fringe where it wouldn’t even be possible to have a hole so who knows why it’s there.
Absolutely shocking conditions out there.
Tricky Ricky
Tricky course but we enjoyed our round. It was a tad busy mid afternoon though. Paid via the Golf Now app which was £10 more than I could have paid through Everyone Golf, so it’s worth shopping about

Great course to play on. The greens were fast. A good challenging course.
Rickmansworth golf course
Great course, lots of Par 3’s. Really well laid out with some magnificent views. This course is great value for money and definitely will come back to play again.
Unusual
We chose this course as it's quite short and my colleague is recovering from a knee issue. We didn't take into account this is a particularly hilly course ! No matter.
Made very welcome at reception. Nice selection of food and drink, warm clean bar area.
And on to the course. On the plus side, virtually every hole is quite different and I used pretty much every club in the bag.
Big negative, and we recognise the weather may have played a factor, the fairways were covered in large lumps of mud where the mower had been up and down. We didn't really understand this as we'd never seen this before and we've played hundreds of courses. Another little moan was that some of the greens had bare areas.
