Overall the course was in good condition despite heavy rain the previous days. Only fault were the greens, which seem to have drainage or seeding lines on them which seriously affected putting. Great value for money and one the greens heal it will be a great course.

Amazing value for money. Really good course, laid out in a way that makes it interesting and challenging. The front nine will definitely keep you on your toes. I will be going back as soon as I can. No idea about the off course facilities since Covid regulations are in place.

Haste hill is a very good public course. Quite a bit of time between tee off, and if someones late you get put in front. A pre-fab toilet errected outside the club for our use. Better than nothing. It was busy and we let quite a few golfers overtake us. We are beginners. A few leaves which made it difficult to always locate the ball but only on a few holes and it was windy over the weekend. A very nice course to play if you are unconfident. There were good players on the course as well as newbies.

Great value golf

Long enough and varied enough to keep one interested and returning to the course. Being a council course, staffing level do not allow for perfect maintenance but it does lead to great value golf. The course is set in attractive woodland with good elevation variations and suits all levels of golfers.

Outstanding for a public course

As this is a public course the standard of the greens is amazing. Overall the course is in very good condition. It is a good layout with a nice mix of holes. Only downside for me Is as with all public courses, is that you get some idiots out on the course. Twice this week we had our ball played by someone else who didn’t check before they played it and we actually had a man a couple of holes ahead of us just picking up any ball that wasn’t his!

But as I play this course every week I will return next week
