Holsworthy Golf Club

Have played Holsworthy a few times now and enjoy it every time I do. The course is well maintained. Although the course is fairly forgiving, there a good few holes that will challenge you.

Well , where do we start. If you’re a lover of playing golf where 8 holes are just a stick in the middle of the fairway with a 6 “ bucket at the bottom then this is the place to come !..Booked this course for the Saturday knock around at what I thought was a great price of £15 so thought I had a bargain but felt cheated even at this price .To be fair this is usually a great course but to not be on all greens at nearly start of May very disappointing.Lady in Pro shop very nice and welcoming and let my partner and I go out before three 4 balls if we went straight away so winner winner there . Course was also a bit squelchy underfoot with some places worse than others . Just feel that we could have been told at the shop about all the temporary greens (Ha Ha)then could have had a refund and would probably gone and played Launceston.Did not stay after for refreshments as was a tad deflated by the experience.

Played Holsworthy on a Hot Deal from Golf Now. Taking into account that we are still in February the course played really well, yes, there were a few wet patches on the fairways but still playable without requiring relief for standing water and the wind was very cold. With on-course toilets and constructed pathways in heavy-use areas the course was a pleasure to play with players and staff all extremely friendly. My friends and I will certainly return and would recommend the club to anybody! Thanks for a great day!

Really good courses. The greens that were in play was amazing for this time of year. A shame some temps were in play but its whst happens this time of year, just gives me an excuse to play it again.i bet it's absolutely amazing in summer as looked amazing even after loads of rain and still very playable. Cant wait to return.

Excellent venue. Course in very good condition. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Tough on the outside, soft in the middle - I made a mess of the starting holes and ending holes, but in between played like a golfer.

A great course, withstood the heavy rain well - fortunately I was at the half-way point and sheltered in the lavatories till the main rainfall passed.

Will play again when next in the area.

Delightful course. Well maintained. Some very nice holes to test your ability. Friendly bar staff, friendly members. Lovely bacon & egg bap before round. Welcoming Pro in the shop. Will definitely return and am very happy to recommend Holsworthy.

Lovely well laid out course that would have been thoroughly enjoyable had it not been for the heavy rain and saturated conditions..

Played the course for £12.00, which I thought was a bargain! Ground conditions were quite wet, so no run, which made the course play quite long. However, the course was in pretty good condition.

The greens could do with some work on them. They have been hollow tyned but have patches and lumps and bumps.

It’s a course with grassed mounds of earth on fairways and around the greens which can leave you with a difficult lye.
