18 holes
Played 3.00 on the 27/9/25 £42 for 2 people and a buggy for £20 good value for money
Trethorne
Course was in great condition considering the rain we've had great course a good challenge
Trethorne
Lovely course some quirky holes but a real challenge some of the grass around some greens were a bit burnt out but the greens themselves were good quite a long course and up and down hills a good workout for the walking players.
Challenging
This is a good challenging course. 1st time playing. Just in starting I say challenging because it was a very warm day and the course is very hilly. We chose to walk around with trolleys but it was hard work. The course is well laid out, thankfully. Follow the paths to the next hole. The greens aren't the best I've ever played but overall a good course for my standard of golf. Definitely think of hiring a buggy though
not great..
Played Trethorne on a number occasions, I wasn’t expecting Augusta however something playable.
The tee boxes where ok, the fairways where average but the greens and around the greens were awful.
Un-puttable.. I understand drilling and sanding is part of the process this time year but I can’t see how they are are gong to recover and around the greens it’s terrible.
The bunkers are mud with some sand in.
I would like to see how the course is in month.
If possible get a buggy
Greens were great. True and a good pace.
Very hilly, I class myself as reasonably fit, but I was exhausted by the end of the round. I carry my bag.
A good challenging course, well laid out.
Signs were good on each hole.
Shame views were not great.
Great value and staff friendly.
I would play again but I would get a buggy.
Four Ball Trethorne
The course is in very good condition and very challenging for any golfer will definitely be back
Challenging course
Good course challenging holes lots of variety really makes you think about your game not just pick the biggest club and hit it amenities are great staff friendly and helpful
On this visit had the misfortune to drop my phone on the course was reported this to reception they without any prompting lent me and my playing partner a golf cart to save us rewarding the entire course managed to find but could praise the staff more
Excellent place can't recommend enough
Trethorne
Wonderful course well maintained great facilities and a challenging course worth a visit for a change from your usual course be prepared very hilly so be well rested when tackling this one
Excellent.
Really can’t fault this club/course. Golf course is fun to play with lots of variety of holes and would be a challenge for all levels of golfer. Not long but quite tight in places. Greens very good and will hold a well struck shot so be brave enough to club up and pitch the green. Slopes make pitching short and running up very tricky. Pace of play when we played (early morning) was fast which we liked. Plenty of trouble if you have a bad day with a driver in most cases no point in searching for your ball in the woods. Incredible value for money compared with what you can play in the area. Reception staff super friendly.
We were staying near wadebridge so about a half hour drive but we’ll worth it. All in all well worth cross the board 5 staff rating from us.
Excellent value for money
Came down while on holiday and this has to be these best value course in the area. It was amazing condition but not an easy course so beginners beware!
Would recommend to anyone as a must play course in Cornwall on a budget.
Great condition course
Course was in very good conditions, with fast and true greens. Course has a lot of variation in the holes. Some course knowledge needed regarding positioning off the tee, but as has every course!
Brilliant
Was abit nervous about the course being bland after the 1st hole, but u walk through to the next hole and the fun really begins. Brilliant course.
A warm afternoon
Great course with some testing holes. Apart from some sand on a few greens, the course was in good condition. A bargain and we virtually had the course to ourselves.
The course is very good and challenging.Although not that long in yardage terms with the hills and course layout it is pretty tough..
The course was in great condition for the time of year but there were improvement works going on and some of the greens had been "dressed"
Nevertheless it is always a challenge and enjoyable.
There are a few climbs so you might want to think about a buggy.
Trethorne
Great course rather hilly would recommend taking a buggy great value for money and friendly staff
