Good short course, good to practice the short game and a few challenging holes
Good course, friendly people
This course is perfect for the newbie and for the golfer who wants to get back in the swing of things. Nice friendly staff in the pro shop.
Great afternoon
Played here once before and returned on my own neen playing 2 months and was welcomed and set of
Nice and quiet as I'm not much to watch yet! Had a very enjoyable round putted really well thanks to the greens being great
Overall a lovely course great staff and some.tough holes
Ed lover
Great looking and great layout for all golfer easy to play and lots of room for everyone and I enjoy it as you will
We played Huntswood on Sunday 17th March 2019. The weather was windy with the odd shower and towards the latter end of the round, hail stones covered the greens which made putting a complete lottery. The only complaint I had on the day was the pace of play. We had a 3 x golfers in front of us with a pair having a buggy. One of the golfers was all over the place and my brother and I had to wait 5 minutes between holes which spoilt our round. Something needs to be done on the pace of play at Huntswood because the course is in good condition, but spoilt by individuals who simply lack course etiquete and the ability to hit the little ball.
Our days golf
The course was in good condition for this time of year. I'm afraid to say we had 3 groups of players in front of us who had no golfing ettiquite at all which was very frustrating
Surprisingly Challenging Course
Great course with some challenging play due to layout and interesting out of bounds markers. You will score well if you hit the ball straight, if you are a bit wayward then expect to be punished.
An excellent course in my opinion, greens were superb!

Huntswood golf course
I have played Huntswood Golf Course many times before and remember the times when it was a 9 hole course. Condition of the course was excellent and the greens were first class. The clubhouse was superb and the staff were friendly and willing to please. I would highly recommend this course to anyone.
Nice course ,not long, but has some tricky holes
Enjoyable course ,had a good day, bar staff friendly and food excellent.
Great course
Great course, staff are really friendly, very well maintained course, will definitely be playing there again
Slow slow slow
Pace of play at this course was just terrible. Took almost 5 hours to get round what is a short course. Avoid weekends would be my advice or play late in the day. It’s not the first time this has happened either so seems to be a pattern at this course.
Great little course
I play here about once a month and luv it. Challenging but fair. Lovely friendly staff.
Short, Quick and satisfying course
I very much enjoy playing here; it's a short course but it's satisfying if you play only a few times a summer to get back into the swing of things. I always tee off before 8am on Saturday and there are no queues or waiting times. Played three times and shot three of my best scores - which is no great surprise considering it's only 5100 yards.
Veryy slow
3, 2 balls piled up on the 4th tee, by the 9th we was waiting for around 15 mins to tee off every hole with no room to play through.
Good potential, average course conditions/difficulty, awful staff attitude
The course is an alright one, fairly easy to play and open fairways in most places.
Greens are very slow, so make sure you give it some with your putter.
Staff were a mixed bag, the guys in the clubhouse are nice enough. However the course marshalls are very rood and jobsworths. I was lining up my first tee shot when the Marshall came over in his buggy telling me I shouldn't me there. After going back to the clubhouse and confirming again I had paid online, I was eventually allowed to play.
It is a beginner course so you have to expect slow play I guess. Something I hadn't considered before playing there.
This is a true example of 'you get what you pay for', at £10 each a round. We now understand the low price.
golf
ok course very slow to get around because of the hole layout plus all the tee boxes need cutting and levelling its very hard to tee up and find a flat spot
Great for a fast round
Great for a round after work. It's a short, manageable course you can fly through after work and at £12. 50 its a good value
