A must try course

First time here, totally blown away by the visual impact with the undulations of some holes. Front 9 especially very challenging. Tee blocks and greens immaculate condition, probably the best I’ve played this year. Highly recommend trying this course, we are definitely planning a return soon.

Frendly club, with a few challenging holes

Second time I have played at FHGC, the course is quite undulating, with some challenging holes. Some of the holes are quite tight and there is some long rough if you are off line. The course was very quiet when we played.

Friendly bar staff, with reasonal selection of beers and drinks.

Challenging

Nice course with good variety. Plenty of hills and slopes so a buggy is definitely recommended.

Great course.

We played here on a Friday and were genuinely impressed by the course. There's a lot of variety between the holes and the course is in good condition. The staff were friendly and it was a great experience generally.

One word of warning, it's very steep in places, quite a workout.

Great value for money and pace of play

Like coming back here, as the course is always in very good condition, staff are friendly and the pace of play is good. Some excellent holes, all 4 of the par 3s are memorable. Front 9 is hilly and more interesting. All tees, greens and surrounding areas are very well maintained, the rest of the course still in good shape despite the very dry weather, Overall, would definitely recommend.

Flackwell Heath Golf course

Great course with interesting and challenging layout. It is very hilly and quite a hard walk but in good condition and with fast greens that run true. Overall a good experience and decent value for money.

Fantastic Flackwell

Such a good course. Had heard it had a great mix of holes, challenging and long straights with wide fairways to really test the driver. The uphill holes are great fun, needing those extra yards to avoid a rollback! The course was in great condition, the pace of play was perfect for my son and I as novices. All the other golfers we encountered were friendly, polite and offered advice to us both. I wouldn't hesitate to come back again and again and work on getting my score down

M40 course you’ve seen hanging onto hill

pass High Wycombe on M40 you have seen the course as u rise from London towards Oxford on left. I read reviews and made the effort . Pro shop made me very welcome offered me an earlier tee time as I was early nice touch considering I was twilight fee. Enjoyed quick orange and soda in bar b4 my tee.Course is a blend of easy and downright evil ( joking). 3rd is eye of a needle to land on green downhill played into trees on left only to see speed across green right and down slope I got par and will smile about that. 5 I think Worlds end is joy nearly holed out 5 wood into wind a shot i will never forget.. 8th tee is one u see nearest Oxford on m40 beaut long par 3. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I would describe the course as quirky with some serious slopes which if you think it out can help you . Glad I got twilight fee full price seems a lot. As Nike say “Just Do It “.. I will go back.13 handicapper.5 over round.

Flackwell Heath Golf Club

Good condition, fairways still have grass and the green surrounds and greens are very lush. The greens were true with pace.

The clubhouse staff were friendly and we had a nice lunch after.

Overall a very nice course and good value for money.

A course for the accurate

A tight course with plenty of challenge, the front 12 holes are hilly, tight and in these dry conditions even more challenging with the bounce and slope. The greens were quick and as a competition on the pins positions were not forgiving.

Testing challenge fantastic greens

Very well maintained private golf club- immaculate fairways greens bunkers tee boxes everywhere was top condition today. Not a easy course to master on first attempt today - very interesting holes all the way round most greens were well protected by bunkers - but the greens were true & varied in size - tough par 3’s - will try again for sure.

Excellent value through Golf Now

Always been a very good course and it still is.

Tees, fairways and greens are in great condition throughout. The course is well designed with challenging and varied holes, with a couple of very difficult par 3 challenges.
