Perfect Sussex Gem!
The course offers a variety of simple and technical holes. The course offers a fantastic opportunity for beginners to hone in their skills whilst more advanced players to really go for those low scores, whilst the course, at times, bites back.
The course itself opens with a fantastic drivable tee and a wide fairway offering a huge drive off the first, more than tempting , however, with trenches and penalty areas up the side, course management highly important. For the beginners there are wide open fairways and some simple holes... which made it fun for our whole group which was of a variety of abilities. The greens were immaculate and fairways in great condition. The course is also a host to vast amounts of wildlife so don't be surprised if your tee shot is delayed due to a deer deciding the grass is greener where you are standing.
Overall a fantastic course for all abilities.
Great value, hidden gem
First time playing Ifield having played most courses in the area over past ten years or so. Really pleasantly surprised by the quality, variety, challenge and condition of the course, particularly in October. It was busy but still managed bang on four hours to get around. Definitely one I will be returning to.
Another perfect day
Another great day at Ifield. I brought a friend who hasn't played there before and he liked the course and was overall very impressed.
We had a great time and loved the scenery with all the wildlife around us. fairways and greens are well kept. I will be back
Good course for the price, heavy rain the night before so water in bunkers and greens quite wet in places

Lovely Course
I have played Ifield many times. On my most recent visit the course was in good condition especially for the time of year. The greens were remarkably fast and true for winter.
My only complaint was that some of the bunkers were out of play.
Hidden gem
Great course. I've been playing around the area for a while but hadn't come across it until now. Some interesting holes and the whole course was in great condition given the recent poor weather. Will be back soon!
Championship Greens
The greens were in excellent condition & some of them quite challenging.
