About
Situated at the base of the Gore Mountain Range in the Rocky Mountains, Vail Golf Club is a mountain course with beautiful scenery provided by Gore Creek, which meanders through the layout, and the White River National Forest that rests adjacent to it. The golf course features flat, tree-lined fairways and medium-sized greens, both of which are well protected by numerous bunkers. The golf course plays through towering trees that demand accuracy. There are also several beaver ponds throughout the golf course that come into play on several holes. In addition to the scenic round, Vail Golf Club also provides practice facilities including a driving range and putting greens.

Very good
Fantastic conditions and staff were super friendly. Greens were true and fairly quick.
Course layout is challenged by the space they were able to use when building it but still good.
Pace of play was spot on and the place clocks all over the course so when you come to one you should see your starting time. I’ve never seen that on a golf course before.
Biggest drawback for me was how close it is to the freeway and the non stop noise of cars and trucks.
Vacation Round in Vail
Vail GC is a nice course in Vail, CO. Staff and course itself was great. They were very busy and our playing partners had no courtesy. they were better players and told us after 4 holes they did not want to play with us. The staff work out so we could get in 18 holes and another gentleman joined us for the back 9 and we had a good day!!
Stunning Venue
First time playing this course. An immaculate venue set below majestic surrounding mountains—stunning!
Beautiful course
We had a great time on this. I ely groomed mountain course. Because it was cartpath only, we had some trouble keeping up.
Vail
Course in great shape & fun to play.
Single golfers were paired up with other singles in carts and not allowed to ride single, although this was not advertised.
Our foursome finished in 4 hrs 15 minutes but got blasted by a ranger on back nine for slow play & holding up twosome behind us. Unreal !!
Vail Golf Club
Vail Golf Club is an amazing mountain course to play. It exceed my expectations by far! The views are absolutely incredible. The course was in great shape and the greens were as close to perfect as it comes. Except that one greens keeper who had a bad day and put the hole on top of a mountain on #10 or #11, haha. I’ve played courses in Summit County, the valley and Grand County, but this course is my overall pick now. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Beautiful mountain views!
I am getting back into golf after growing up playing on the east coast. This club was beautiful, well maintained, and a great value for the price. Everyone was extremely friendly and I had a wonderful time playing.
