About
Situated at the base of the Gore Mountain Range in the Rocky Mountains, Vail Golf Club is a mountain course with beautiful scenery provided by Gore Creek, which meanders through the layout, and the White River National Forest that rests adjacent to it. The golf course features flat, tree-lined fairways and medium-sized greens, both of which are well protected by numerous bunkers. The golf course plays through towering trees that demand accuracy. There are also several beaver ponds throughout the golf course that come into play on several holes. In addition to the scenic round, Vail Golf Club also provides practice facilities including a driving range and putting greens.

This course has the best scenery.
Long straight drives that favor a slight slice.
Beautiful course and the staff were extremely friendly.
10/8/24 1:20 tee time
This course is a well designed tract that is kept in very good condition. I shared the afternoon with 3-strangers and finished our round as friends. The greens were immaculate and tricky. The fairways were generous and the conditions and scenery were awesome. I’m definitely planning on returning to play golf here again.
Vaill Golf Course
Played this course 15 years ago and again 10 years ago. This time the course was lush and in great shape once again. Pace of play was a bit slow and could have.been managed better. Overall, this course is not a typical muni. Very well conditioned. Worth playing for sure.
Great golf, great views
We had such a great time last week that we came back this week. We ate both times. the food is really good!!! Love eating out on the deck.
Very Nice Course with Great Views
The Vail course was in great condition and the views are excellent. We've played here before and will definitely be back.

Good Course
Pace of play was under 4 hours for a foursome. Good public course. Playable for all levels of golf.
Good but painfully slow.
Started at 2:45pm and finished at 7:45pm. Starting the back nine the starters or pro shop let a single player jump in in front if us and that person played 2 balls for over half of the back nine. Pace if play was dreadful. That was only major issue with course.
