About
Situated at the base of the Gore Mountain Range in the Rocky Mountains, Vail Golf Club is a mountain course with beautiful scenery provided by Gore Creek, which meanders through the layout, and the White River National Forest that rests adjacent to it. The golf course features flat, tree-lined fairways and medium-sized greens, both of which are well protected by numerous bunkers. The golf course plays through towering trees that demand accuracy. There are also several beaver ponds throughout the golf course that come into play on several holes. In addition to the scenic round, Vail Golf Club also provides practice facilities including a driving range and putting greens.

Awesome course. One of the nicest course I have ever played. Views on every hole was unbelievable. Course was in GREAT condition.
Vail Golf
Well maintained golf course. FrIendly and helpful staff. Course is suitable to all skill of golfers.
Overpriced and underconditioned
Greens were very inconsistent, with some hard with others fuzzy and slow. Pace of play was poor,, waited on every hole.
Stunning Mountain Views
Got a "killer" deal on green fees, staff was very friendly and helpful. The course is mostly flat with generous fairway widths. Greens are average sized with smooth surfaces in good condition.
The club rental fee is $55 per set and didn't include any free balls. A small bucket of range balls was $6.
Great round!
Course is in excellent condition. Pace of play was very good, no unreasonable delays. Would highly recommend.
Vail's Best Public Course
The professional people that work here, the driving range, the putting, chipping combine to make this one of the best public golf course in Vail, Valley. I highly recommend it for it's challenging, beautiful holes are many and fun Golf!

This golf course is not kid friendly what is dog friendly hopefully they can continue to support a golf with dogs

Beautiful even while under repair
Beautiful and lot’s of fun holes under repair were still a challenge
Disappointing
Greens in less than satisfactory condition. Roughs are rediculousy high and need to be lowered. Ladies t boxes too close to senior t boxes, making course too long for average women. Temporary green on # 12 should be closer to green under repair, so this par 5 would play near normal.
