Very nice challenging course
Many of the fairways are quite narrow and bunkers well positioned, making the course challenging. There had been a lot of rain overnight and all morning, but the course and greens were in very good condition for the tine of the year.
Good course but poorer maintenance.
Brilliant course, particularly in the summer, but one thing that doesn’t altar your game too much but has become slightly annoying is that non of the golf ball scrub units are never topped up. We’ve played more than 15 times over a few months now and they’re always bone dry.
The most frustrating part is that there was leaves absolutely everywhere. Obviously this cannot be completely avoided but we were hoping there would be more active blowing of the leaves during the autumn months. It seems some effort has been made but the leaves are blown onto the edge of the fairways rather than away and off the edge to. This means if your ball does manage to get in the rough, good luck finding your ball.
Greens
I’m
Not one to moan at all ever about the greens being spikedd it’s part of the maintenance, but when your paying to play a different course there should be warnings or something to tell people of the conditions, all set up to enjoy the day and then just ruined by spiked greens full of sand
Maybe one to think about putting on the golf now site, the state of the greens for info
ALL 18 GREENS WAS CLOSED
Absolutely awful round of golf.
Wasn't told when booking or even on arrival that all all 18 greens was closed and we would have to use temporary greens.
Temporary green was basically a white circle painted on the fairway which was shambolic.
Loud heavy machinery hovering around waiting for us to take shots which was very off-putting.
1st impressions is not very good.
Even club members was walking off after 9 holes because the temporary greens was shambolic.
Strangers hiding in the bushes on hole 17 - I asked what he was doing and got no response - he was not staying in the lodges he looked like a right weirdo - good job we was male golfers if it was females then they would have been very weary.
Honestly probably the worst round of golf we have had in a very very long time.
Great round
Furst time we had all played here.
We all really enjoyed our round. Course was superb and we were lucky with the weather.
Club shop and all staff were frendly and welcoming.
Will definitely be returning.
Enjoyed the game
I enjoyed the game but I feel the course its let down by the very long par 3's which are not a test of Iron play as I think they should be. They were particularly hard for my wife when she had to take a driver to reach the queen , this makes not sense at all. Common with so many course in this country there are no toilet facilities on the course at all, having spent millions on the new spar, you would think a toilet block at halfway would have been possible., if you need to go you have to walk al the way to the club house which just slows the game completely.
Enjoyed
Really enjoyed my round of golf at Laceby Manor although the course was extremely dry it was still in excellent condition with the greens in great shape
First visit. First class!
The day started with a warm and informative welcome in the Pro's shop. We found the course to be in great condition with perfectly manicured tees and greens. Lots of interesting and challenging holes, despite it being a flat course. Signage on the course was excellent and really helpful, and no long treks between green and next tee. A welcome drink in a particularly smart clubhouse concluded an excellent visit.
Pleasant
Considering the dry arid conditions th course was in very good condition and the greens were very good indeed

Well layabout course. Nice and challenging. Particularly like the new 1st tee .Thoroughly enjoyed the game.
Best course I’ve played in a long time, greens were excellent to say we’ve just had a heat wave so credit to all green keepers and staff!
Will definitely be back and recommending to friends!
