Excellent value for money, Course in great condition for the time of year. Heard the greens had been poor earlier in the year but they were in very good condition. Pace of play was a little slow but enjoyed playing the course

Louth Golf Course

Some holes are tricky to navigate for first time around. Got to keep good look out for next hole on some. Course really nice good long holes and really good exercise if you walk round which we did and some good scenery. Only negative we got stuck behind a four ball that were ridiculously slow and it took my playing partner and myself 4.5 hours to get round other than that really good experience would definitely go again and recommend.

Excellent golf course.

Great course. Greens are immaculate considering the dry summer. Staff ( pro shop and greenkeepers ) very friendly. Played on my own as I'm away with the missus for the week. Had two four ball members in front of me. Both of whom waved me through. Thank you, if you read this, you know who you are. Shot round in just over 3 hours. Absolutely excellent. I didn't call in the clubhouse, but looked nice from the outside.

Long and difficult course, poor greens

The greens were in poor condition, and I found it quite long for me with lots of trees. Very slow play, though they did let me through eventually.

There was a lot of work going on in the clubhouse, and the bar didn't feel very cosy. The light didn't work in the gents toilet. The staff were all friendly.

Greens all good again!

I was a little worried after ready reviews from earlier this year that the greens were going to be awful, but I can say that any earlier issues seem to have been resolved and the greens were perfectly fine.

Really lovely tree lined course, tight in places and some challenging green complexes, but very enjoyable and overall in great condition. For the money we paid £25, it was fantastic value. Only negative was we asked to hire a buggy on arrival and was told that none were available, and then during the course of the round I didn't see a single buggy being used which seemed unusual. Maybe they only have a couple of buggies, but worth considering as for the less fit amongst us I think they would struggle with some the walking and elevations changes on this course- so definitely book a buggy ahead.

Much improved course

I first played the course on April 2025 and was disappointed with the conditions, however, the greens have come on leaps and bounds..

The putting surfaces were true, bobble free and very well covered. Considering the weather we are having they are exceptional. Any signs of recent spiking has healed.

Will be visiting again for sure

Well done the greenkeeping team..👍

Great course

What a fantastic course, great layout and some interesting and testing holes. I was a solo golfer and at the start the pace of play was good, caught up with two 3 balls who let me play through which was great, caught up another 3 ball on the 11th which didn't, a lot of waiting around but it was a fantastic course and I really enjoyed it. 10/10

Minor tweaks needed

Most of the greenfield bunkers need attention as there is hardly any sand in them, just compaced gravel, making bunker shots impossible.

Greens ok but very slow as too dry but a good test for putting due to undulations.

No course layout and yardage book available so shot selection is mostly hit and miss unless you are very familiar with the course.

Wonderful views around the course but advise a battery trolley or buggy as the gradients around the course can be very tiring.

Great course, but slow going

Wonderful course, it really is in pristine condition from teebox to greens. I got stuck behind a society day who would not let me play through, so behind 4*4 balls a round took me 4h 30m which was frustrating.

Off course facilities are good with nets, putting green and driving range. Would 100% be going back.

Shame most of the greens are in terrible condition.

Which is a shame because I do really enjoy playing this course.

Hopefully can get them sorted quite quickly.

Green condition not great

The greens are not currently in great condition. All greens including the practice green are pitted and have what looks like small divots / pitch marks covering them.

No info on the website or given by the clubhouse about the green condition.
