Nice course but very slow
Overall the course was well kept. Good variety of holes. Unfortunately at times there were 5 different groups on 1 hole. Waiting for the group Ahead to play your every shot. Took over 3 hours to get through 8 holes and just over 6 to get through 18 without a break.
Wonderful little gem.
Despite the recent bad weather, the course was in excellent condition throughout.
Great winter course
Had the course to ourselves we were early got there an hour before our time even though we didn’t see any one tee off before our time we couldn’t tee off until our time Because we had a cheap deal ?
Shocking
Turned up and was told can’t play unless I carry. Cannot do this as I have a bad back. Not friendly and drove 25 miles for nothing!!.
Poor fairways
Booked for tee off 11,45 told it had been put back to 12pm when I booked in
Greens very good as usual but the fairways as a whole are poor, I know we had a dry summer but please cut them so they are at least even there were time the ball lay on next to no grass and two foot away the grass is 6-8 long and vice versa
Need attention
Tee boxes okay, greens slow but okay, fairways terrible - very difficult to see the definition between fairway and rough, it was like playing on a park field. This wasn’t helped by the poor standard of golfers in a buggy in front of us, zero understanding of pace of play or etiquette of golf. I guess the parkland quality of the course attracts a certain type of golfer.
There are a lot of courses in the area so would expect a need to compete to attract custom, sadly this isn’t the case. This is my most local course but I won’t be returning, not even for a free day out I’d rather give it a miss.

Great course
Fairways were poor but expected after the weather we have had, greens and tee box were perfect condition couldn’t ask for better
Challenging
1st time playing this course staff very friendly and accommodating as l was running late and it wasn't a problem some very challenging holes and some easier ones course could do with a watering greens and tee's were in really good condition. I will be back again soon.
