Slow Round
Such a shame as we are looking for a membership locally. Out tee time was 1.12 but we had a queue and finally got off at 1.30. We had 2 3balls in front of us and it was clear they were not ordinary golfers so we were waiting on every tee for 5mins due to layout of course. When we finished we decided to pay and go around once more as there was no one on the 1st or 2nd tee. When we approached the 3rd tee there was 3 adults and 3 under 12’s playing as one group. Once again we were held up for long periods but eventually pushed through on hole 6. All in all we never finished until 5.45pm. Speaking with others it appears this is the case most days. We were also nearly hit twice with neither a shout of 4 on holes 5 and 8.
Good practice course
Great little 9 hole course , maintained to a decent standard throughout . Good mixture of mid length holes and greens are very well looked after. As a high handicap golfer it's an ideal course to practice on , quite forgiving fairways but also a few snags and water holes that can catch you out . 9 holes can easily be done in an hour and a half so ideal to drop in after work and play a quick 9 or have the option to go round twice for the full 18. Also has a driving range that is reasonably priced and the mats are to a good standard . Selection of cold drinks and snacks available at payment point and various golf items for sale if you forget something . Staff are friendly and helpful. All in all as a short course it offers someone of my level an opportunity to sharpen my game prior to taking on bigger courses in the area. Would recommend if you have a spare couple of hours and want to hit some greens
Millers Barn
Could be a lovely course if a minority of people had more respect
Nearly 5stars
Only one fault in my opinion, A few to many targets on the driving range.
Other than that it's an amazing little course, well looked after and staff always seem to be happy and helpful.
Great little 9 hole course
Arrived to find great facilities such as Driving range, Putting green & coffee hut. Course was packed. Lots of families. Good to see youngsters out playing.
Joined a 2 ball as i was on my own. Friendly players as well as staff.
Highly recommended if you are in the area.
Overall a nice 9 hole
Played here a lot and is a nice little course but still challenging. Green we’re in excellent condition as was most of the course. Staff are friendly and helpful in the pro shop.
Would recommend anyone who is looking for a round to give it a go.
Great little course
Great little course greens could do with a bit of work but overall a lovely experience
Oh the course should have been shut
Course was sodden, yet they allowed electric trolleys. In my opinion the couse should have been closed
Nice little course
Nice short 9 hole course with some tricky features in place to make it a challenge. Miller's Barn also has a nice driving range with plenty of bays. 👍
Value for money
Great little course with challenging holes
Excellent service friendly staff great value for money
£16.50 for 18 holes
It's okay
It's an okay course. A bit pricey for the overall condition of the course. The tee off times needs to be policed. You'll be given a tee time, but then be queuing up behind golfers ready to tee off and you won't tee off sometimes 15 minutes after your tee off time. Then you find 2 different groups playing the same hole at once. Very slow course due to this.
One for everyone
This is a course for everyone, flat with some obstacles along the way.
The staff are friendly and they don't enforce strict rules like dress code
The driving is also very nice an updated
Pretty good
Everything was great except for the fact that they had too many temporary holes when I played so didn’t get to do the actual course fully, hopefully next time I visit there are no temps.
Miller's Barn
Excellent shirt 9. Greens and bunkers not perfectly kept though.
Greens in good condition
Should have played this course before as it is local. All very relaxed, 50 balls beforehand, a cup of coffee at the hut and then an enjoyable 9 holes.
