Seaside golf at its best.
Always a pleasure to play this gem of a golf course.
The course is always in great condition and it is always a challenge, especially in the strong winds that blow straight in off the Atlantic.
Hilly but not to taxing on yhe legs, the views make the climb up the 9th hole well worth it!
Superb greens and beautiful views
I liked this course so much I went back and played it again the following day!
The greens were superb despite the very dry weather and you don’t want to leave yourself too many downhill putts.
The only disappointment was the stroke 1 hole (no.7) was on a forward tee as they are having issues with the fairway by the look of it. That didn’t really detract from 2 great days on the course.
Great course
Great course, but be aware the par 4 stroke 1 has been shut due to on going damp on the fairway. They turned it into a par a short par 4 but should be a par 3. Course rating and slope rating needs to be addressed as that 1 hole makes the course a lot easier
Course has fantastic scenery
Golf course was good from start to finish
Scenery was unreal on most holes
Very challenging with wind in face
Only negative really was quite difficult finding next hole when completed hoke but might be just me
Will definitely visit again superb
Value for money
Amazing day out
Friendliest club you could ever play
Amazing views
Fantastic greens
Thank you for a great day out.
Friendliest club
Probably the friendliest club I’ve ever been to. From the members to the staff
Thanks for a great day. Be back soon!!
A little piece of heaven.
This was our second visit to Mullion gc and we are definitely coming again!
The views alone are worth the green fees but the course its self is extremely enjoyable.
A true cliff top links course with plenty of slopes and hazards to negotiate.
The greens and course were in great condition considering the lack of rain we have had for the last few months.
Can't wait to get back......
Mullion in Febuary!
I booked to play at Mullion Golf club for both myself (5 hcp)and my son(14 hcp).
On our arrival the carpark was absolutely chock a block full due to there being a ladies comp on in the morning.
There really isn't any other option but to await a space coming free which it did after 15 mins or do of waiting.
We went to the pro shop to check in o ly to fi d it all locked up.
We went to the bar in the clubhouse were we bought a few drinks to take on the course with us.
We were given to cards by a kindly member who also informed us that there were 4 holes shut due to the recent bad weather. This was the first we had heard of this, noone from the staff at any point informed us this was the case.
The weather was sunshine with a stiff wind coming g straight off the seashore, beautiful clear day.
We started off on time on the tough par3 starting hole, straight in to the wind.
After that it got a little confusing.
The second hole has 2 marker posts to aim at from the teebox. Having never played here before we took our chances and played over the yellow post, which turned out to be the correct choice, if we had gone over the white/ black post we would have been about 100yds off line!
Then, due to the closure of certain holes, it took a bit of figuring out which way to go.
By this time a member had caught us up, we let him play through so we could follow him around, which really helped us!
The course is a really good test of golf for all handicaps.
The condition of the course, especially the greens, for Febuary was amazing!
And the views, oh boy, they have to be up there with the best in the world.
It really felt like Pebble beach at times.
We will definitely be back, perhaps this summer if time allows and I'll be bringing all 3 sons next time.
A friendly welcome to a lovely course
Played on a sunny afternoon- course in good condition and well maintained. Layout is excellent with some stunning holes and amazing views. Booked online but professional paired me up with another singleton which made the round even more enjoyable. And professional even took time to chat and show me round and made me feel very welcome - a nice touch considering course was busy.
Would play again and definitely recommend.
Great links course
Great course. Immaculately presented.
Driving range and chipping green available and a small putting green near the 1st tee.
Good signage around the links and lots of ball cleaners and bins around. Topped off with stunning views
A magnificent Links course in excellent condition.
A fabulous experience I would recommend to any golfer visiting the area. The course was challenging for the first time visitor with a few blind holes and fairways cut in some strange directions but perhaps that’s just Links golf and I’m not that used to playing them. The condition of the course was excellent throughout our round, from tee box , fairways , bunkers and greens it would be hard to criticise, The scenery was spectacular throughout and We were lucky to play on a beautiful blue sky, light wind day,. I will definitely return and improve on this years score knowing more about the course layout, I can’t wait !
Fantastic
We played this course for the first time 5 days ago as part of a golf tour to Cornwall. Unable to play on Sunday afternoon due to dense fog, the lovely gent in the Pro shop allowed us to reschedule for a few days later. What a treat. The welcome was warm and genuine, the members were all very generous with course advice. The course was in outstanding condition and the pace of play was spot on. Great views from the course too. Can’t wait to play this gem of a course again
Fantastic course, with some good challenges
Really enjoyed this course. It has stunning views and some really challenging sections
Windy but fun
Last minute round of golf, horrible weather, but very enjoyable game. Course still in very good condition despite the weather. Would highly recommend playing here, not the easiest of courses, every hole can be a challenge. Will be back again soon to try it in better conditions
Excellent course, even during Winter period.
My friends and I had an excellent time playing at Mullion for the first time and were lucky with some perfect weather conditions on the day. Despite playing in a rainy February, the course was in superb condition with only one temporary green on the 14th hole. We played on the busiest day of the week, Wednesday, and most groups we met were very friendly and great to speak to. The views around Mullion are stunning and the course layout is good too with some standout holes. Afterwards in the bar, all the staff and members were very helpful and welcoming. Will definitely be returning at some point.
