Great layout but
Well layer out course and enjoyable to play. But bunkers dreadful and very poor maintenance, this course could be top class with green keepers not grass cutters
Lovely Course
Great condition lovely parkland with mature tree lined fairways. Greens in superb condition
Good, for the price.
A little busy but grateful to be able to get a tee time on a Saturday afternoon.
Good layout poor condition
I had played this course. Years ago But now it has been badly neglected. The bunkers were all out of play, full of stones. The fairways were more like semi rough. The greens were not bad but really needed a good cut.
The layout is excellent all it needs is a good work over by a good green keeper and his staff. What a shame as it used to be great.
A lovely array of magnificent trees with wonderful scinery
Played first time, the opening and last hole are superb, the others are nearly as good. Would have given it 5 star but for the. poor condition of the sand bunkers that are in need of restoration .
Sunday evening round
Played here for the first time on a lovely Sunday evening. And was very glad we did. The course had been busy on the day , judging by the car park being full. But there was plenty of room on this well kept course. Greens were in good shape and the course was a challenging but fair test for me as a high handicapper. Fantastic value for money. Will definitely be back.
Good value
Great value course, greens quality has improved but the tee boxes do need work. Sand on them, i don’t mind, but they arent even level on some. However, lower price so csnt expect perfection
Too slow
Great weather conditions but unfortunately bunkers were full of weeds, GUR.
Stuck behind a 4 ball for the complete round which really spoiled the golf as couldn’t get into a groove
Shame about the condition of all the bunkers. Which made them unplayable and we dropped the ball behind them and chipped over
Good Course, bunkers could do some work
Good course only let down by a lack of sand in the bunkers
Golfers dozen
Late tee time of 18:40 but still more playing behind us.
Course in great condition, social distancing measures still in place.
Abundant wildlife and great weather a cracking evening even though we called time after 12 holes, will be back again very soon and play a full 18.
Great value for money.
Great value for money
Tee it up and let it rip. Wide fairways give you the confidence to really go for each tee shot.
The course is in great condition
Played on a Saturday evening as we had through the summer. Busier than usual but still 4 hour round. Course is in great condition with plenty of wildlife, woodpeckers and red kites overhead.
Looking forward to playing again
