Let me start with the positives. Greens ran pretty well and Tee Time was as booked at a fair price. Tee boxes were very uneven., fairways grass was either long or a mud type lies. Shame as course has some nice holes just needs tlc. What left a bitter taste is we played in hot conditions and found bar to be closed at 4pm which in Summer seems bizarre.
Nice Course - Friendly People
Booked this as not played for a while and wanted a course that is not too tight. This fits the bill perfectly, most drives give you space and the green approaches offer some good target golf with some well placed bunkers. Tee to green it is very enjoyable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definatley be going back there.
Blind 18th green
This is a fantastic course for all levels of player. Plenty of undulations on fairways and greens and as for the 18th - you need a sherpa to reach the green if you are used to the flat land of the fens.
The lady in the clubhouse was brilliant managing to squeeze us in after we arrived half hour late due to traffic. Try this course out, I don't think you'll be disappointed
Drenched but enjoyable
Played in pouring rain , except for puddles on green course condition was good.
Rain kept many away so finished in just over 3 hours.
Priors hall
Fantastic course in brilliant condition but unfortunately it took over 4 and a half hours to play the round.
Beautiful course, shame about the greens.
Picturesque course, beautiful setting. Tee boxes and greens were the only two things to let down this otherwise well maintained and challenging course. Hoping it’s the effect of a very cold winter/spring and will be rectified by the summer.
Great scenery
Really loved playing here. For the price, I was a bit worried it was going to be a terrible course but it was in fact amazing. The design is very good and the views are lovely.
Forgiving golf course
First time playing here under some winter conditions so only 11 holes open. As a component golfer it was nice to come to a course where you could open your shoulders and swing away at the ball. Not the best course or conditions but you shouldn’t expect that for the cost. It is however very good value for money.
