Slow play and quite a boring round.
This place is a lovely spot for the older generation . Pace is slow and the area is very scenic.
The course isn’t very challenging and quite featureless .
The staff are friendly and the club house is very nice but all in all a bit of boring course.
Loved the course and facilities it had a really good practice area the only draw back were the greens they were in a poor state and looked diseased
Excellent day out good golf (winter) great host Richard (owner) will be back
Playing golf in winter isn’t the easiest day out the elements can make or break a day none the less this golf club is really cool has everything you need
Really good course long holes great walk and the facilities are as good as can be great bar great staff Richard is a great guy and owns a great club thank you will be back
Great winter knock
First time visitor and really impressed, super tees and greens, no winter mats or temporary greens to contend with barely any standing water, which says a lot given the amount of rain in November, will definitely be back!
Snail Pace
Just come of the course, after playing just 2 holes, nearly 40 minutes, not prepared for another 16 like that, theres was just a 2 ball golf cart, and a single guy in front of me, very dissapointing , on a really sunny afternoon, cant fault the young lady in shop, as she let me go a bit early, it was fantastic a few weeks earlier, maybe picked just ine of those days
Very wet day
Nice course…unfortunately due to large amount of rain a lot of standing water around… but will play again …

Just a very very good course. Well designed, friendly staff and other players too actually. Probably not the most challenging course for great golfers but certainly challenging enough for me !! 🫣. Would highly recommend.
Good test but strange layout & areas for improvement
Overall a very good test with a number of trees & water hazards in fairways creating some difficult tee shots. Greens in generally good condition although mix of firm & soft.
Only major issue was the layout with a significant number of holes forcing you walk back down the fairway from the green to go to the next tee. Tee boxes were also not in great condition making it difficult to find a flat lie.
Fair test of golf
Very friendly and helpful staff in pro shop. Greens were true and in good condition. The course provides a fair test for golfers of all abilities with some challenging holes. Course like most courses at the moment needs some sustained period of rain as fairways very bare and hard.
Superb
Really enjoyed this course. Flat, scenic layout, fairly wide fairways (great for us as relatively new to the game), well maintained and friendly. Perfect!
