The Old at White Bluff Golf Club

About
White Bluff opened in the early 1990s along the shores of one of Texas’ most productive fishing lake, Lake Whitney, and now sports two outstanding Bruce Lietzke-designed courses, plenty of accommodations, and the resources to make your lake time productive while on weekend excursions to the area.
The Old Course, considered the easier of the two tracks because of its generous fairways, still features the majestic oaks that are so prominent to this region of Texas. The front side is flat and allows you the chance to get warmed up for the scenic back nine. This back side, highlighted by views of Lake Whitney, offers more elevation changes and Hill Country scenery.
No. 12 (400 yards) is tough because is plays uphill and requires the tee shot to carry water, but No. 13 is the signature--a 160-yarder that overlooks a ravine and the lake and is the perfect introduction to the creek that impacts play on the next few holes.

Great course
The course is in great condition, greens are very nice and roll out very well. Played the Old course and it has a lot of elevation change and some great views of the lake. Overall it is worth the price, had cart service today which I’d never seen before here, I will definitely play it again soon.
Great Saturday morning
Had high expectations and was Not disappointed. Nothing bad to say.
Great day at the course
Good course
Enjoyable round of golf mixed with wildlife on the course.
This course has some great challenges
This course is truly a challenge. Some of the holes are blind type holes. The only disappointment was a group in front of us playing their own 2 man best ball scramble, and they were taking alot of time at each hole especially the green. But the course itself was in great shape from fairways to greens.
Old Course at White Bluff is worth it!
Only negative was some fairways were a little thin. Always nice people and fast greens.
Hohum
Greens recently punched, inconsistent and super slow. Waited on most every tee box.
Great course!!!
This is a very good challenging course. Usually pace of play is pretty steady… but this time was very packed and had to wait on every hole unfortunately. Golfers were trying to pass, and then would slow pace down even worse, due to experience level. Wasn’t an issue until hope 14-15. Also, there was a bigger group of 7 playing in front of us and not one Marshall came to say anything so… but all in all course is very very nice and worth waiting since it was such a beautiful day outside. O, don’t let your card go for drinks unless you will be able to get to restaurant to close out your tab or they will close and keep your card. Wasn’t informed that they would close prior to us completing our round. Other than that… play here you will enjoy it
Beautiful country and golf course
Like both courses but the Old Course is my favorite.
A golf round with nature all around you!!!
I always enjoy playing a round at the old course. The deer and wild turkey are out most of the time and it is usually not very crowded so you have time to take it all in while sill staying in good rhythm. The course is well maintained.
Love this course
Incredibly difficult course, but beautiful. Elevation changes are awesome.
Beautiful, challenging course.
The Old Course and the New Course are always in fantastic shape. It is a very challenging course with tree lined narrow fairways and undulating greens. It is a beautiful course and during the week there is not a whole lot of traffic on it. They also have the very best golf carts, very comfortable, coolers with ice in them, and USB charging outlet.
Old Course Was just as good if not better than the new course
I think there were a few holes that were stunning and challenging at the same time. Tight fairways, tough shots, This place had it all. Great experience! Will be back soon!
