Well laid out course

Booked a round of golf whilst visiting friends for the week and wasn't disappointed. Got talking to a couple of members waiting for my tee time who invited me to join them.

Steve and Mark were very knowledgeable about the course, constantly giving advice about every hoke and telling me how the course had evolved over recent years as well as just having usual banter making the round thoroughly enjoyable even though the wind made shot selection interesting!

Will definitely look to play again the next time I am down and would happily recommend anyone to play a round of golf here

A gentle knock

Played this on a mid Sunday slot .Young man in the pro shop let us go early which is always good !.Course played well with plenty of roll. Wouldn’t say the most challenging with no stand out holes so fair to say wouldn’t travel the 70 miles as others I would play closer .Course in fine nick with exception of 8th green which has had drainage work done but Pro did advise us of this. Only three par three’s which seemed a little weird but a handy toilet block at the halfway point Clubhouse was shut when finished so cannot comment on that but overall as we only paid £15.99 for a Sunday knock ,we cannot complain .Another one ticked off of our list
