Great challenge and immaculate greens
This was the 2nd time I've played Studley Wood and I was not disappointed. A great challenge with many very interesting holes. The greens were perfect, very fast and true. A bargain for £30 on Golf Now. The warm up facilities are great as was the clubhouse. If you haven't played here yet I highly recommend that you do. A wonderful golf experience.
Oxfordshires Best Golf Course
Perfect day, perfect course, outstanding greens and a nice pint afterwards. All in all IMO Studley is Oxfordshire's best golf course.
Lovely course, great greens
Played 18 as a two ball, course was a little slow at times but it was Jubilee weekend so not a problem. Fast greens some challenging holes, lots of water! All in all I definitely recommend the course and I’ll be back.
Course Review
Course in excellent condition Great welcome and sausage rolls particularly if good home cooked quality .Happy with value for money on the Golf Now deal
Top course
Not played at Studley Wood for 15 years so a treat to go back. The course is amazing. Greens were the quickest I have played for a while and realty well designed, so many breaks you never get a simple put.
Loads of water and perfect bunkers, I found both. Fairways are generally generous and rough is pretty short but don't be fooled, it's tough. Straight and long is the name of the game but much of the course has premium for accuracy rather than driver.
It is on the expensive side but got a hot deal so worth it
A pleasant surprise with some great second shot holes
For winter golf the course held up well, looking forward to play in better conditions.
Some great par 5s and the water makes your second shot an interesting challenge
Great course
Great course and great value. Looking forward to playing here again.
Great course
Great course to play.
Greens in great condition. Very fast
Warm April day
I have Played golf for around 30 years and i cannot believe that i have never played here before! What a wonderful place.with some real challenging holes between large areas of water, the greens were some of the fastest I've played on. As a 15 handicap player i loved everything about the course, the signature hole for me is the 18th.
can't wait to play it again. Although the price of a round has increased since 1st May.
the ground staff are working hard on getting the course ready for the spring and the summer, that was nice to see, when playing the course.
Good course, a little bit soggy underfoot
Course looked like it may have been adversely affected by the dry summer as a little muddy and bare in places in the wet winter weather. Greens and aprons all excellent though, had been tined so a bit bumpy but looked like they were good quality. All in all it’s a good course, a little crammed in but some good challenges and tight drives that make you think.
Studley Wood
Very slow today but still worth the wait as it’s always a pleasure to play at Studley Wood. Greens in perfect condition even in the 30 degree heat.
Great course and an interesting challenge
The course has a great mix of holes, plenty of water but not too challenging. The only negative is some of the paths from green to tee are rough and unfinished otherwise great
Great to come back.
I can’t afford summer rate of this great course however it was very reasonable price on tee off times. Course was in good condition. Green was pretty fast for winter. Some tees are on mat but can’t argue with this price. I love the course, great practice facilities, staff are always friendly. Wanna play again in warmer weather.
