Cold Spring Country Club
About
Cold Spring Country Club is situated halfway between Springfield and Worcester. Opened in 2010 in an effort to bring world class golf to western Massachusetts, the club has since garnered a local following. The par-71 layout is unique in that it has six par 3s and five par 5s. There are also some par 4s in the 450-yard range. The 6,521-yard length indicated on the scorecard can be deceiving since it feels much longer when you're playing it. The golf course has plenty of variety, including dogleg lefts, doglegs rights, short holes, and long holes. Thanks to its mountaintop locale, Cold Spring C.C. offers stunning views that are as diverse as the holes. The vistas from the elevated tees and greens stretch to the Berkshires, Connecticut, and Vermont. From the golf course's highest tee box on the par-3 10th, you'll have a panoramic view of central Massachusetts.

Stopped after 12 holes
Team tryouts taking place in the course, we were first team out after them and pace of play was terrible. Should have left a longer gap between the teams going out and the public tee times

Great layout, Staff, Pace of play, Greens were fantastic. One recommendation install next hole direction signage to assist first time and returning visitors.

Good pace fore 9 but no 19th!
Pace was great for first 9, played as a twosome in 1.5 hours, made the turn and caught the threesome in front of us. Took 2 1/2 hours to finish, three walkers who consistently hit more than one tee shot and had no clue about ready golf!
Foursome behind us quit after 16. Ranger would help. Unfortunately no bar, still working on getting license, proshop said 8/01! Recommend as a nice track in good shape, greens were lightning fast.
Great Shape - no drinks / no food through
Course was in really good shape.. layout is good less 3-4 holes that are really bad (8,9, 18 specifically)... no food or drink was a shame considering the great views at clubhouse
Good conditions
This course has recovered well from the winter, great job staff. Fairways are in good shape greens are rolling fast and true. A challenging walk but rewarding, overall a great experience.
