About
Cold Spring Country Club is situated halfway between Springfield and Worcester. Opened in 2010 in an effort to bring world class golf to western Massachusetts, the club has since garnered a local following. The par-71 layout is unique in that it has six par 3s and five par 5s. There are also some par 4s in the 450-yard range. The 6,521-yard length indicated on the scorecard can be deceiving since it feels much longer when you're playing it. The golf course has plenty of variety, including dogleg lefts, doglegs rights, short holes, and long holes. Thanks to its mountaintop locale, Cold Spring C.C. offers stunning views that are as diverse as the holes. The vistas from the elevated tees and greens stretch to the Berkshires, Connecticut, and Vermont. From the golf course's highest tee box on the par-3 10th, you'll have a panoramic view of central Massachusetts.

Great course, friendly staff. I would say you need more water stations on the course or maybe a cart perso.
A Very Enjoyable Round
The course was in great shape. The staff was very accommodating. Played off the Senior Tees, which made this long course challenging but still enjoyable to play.
great course
Stumbled on this looking for something to play before an event in Amhearst. It was a drizzly, cold day (I am more of a fair weather golfer, not a die hard) - I enjoyed the course. It is challenging. I would not walk personally. I will be back to play in better weather
Aeration in progress.
The course is in good shape, however they are in the middle of aerating. Shut down the back nine, had to play the front twice. No mention from the starter, or direction.
The front nine has several very wet areas, poor drainage or going across the fairways.
Worth playing it, but at a discount if you can get it.
Awesome all around!
Loved the course. Even though it might not be the longest, it certainly keeps things interesting with varied challenges on each hole – the rolling fairways and those quick, multi-level greens really demand different approaches. And it's always a pleasure to play on a course that's so well looked after.
Good course
The course was in great shape and surprisingly not crowded. Tough up and down course with a lot of doglegs. Not easy for a beginner like me. Enjoyed it.
Hills and views, nice course.
This is a hilly course, providing great views and a challenging round of golf. I decided to walk, it is a long and uphill walk, but fun. The course is good, getting better with weather, plays long and challenges your shot making with uneven lies.
Golf course in great shape
Course was in great shape. Sand traps were actually sand, grass was good all around the course. Greens were firm but maintained well.
Took forever at the turn to get a beer and hot dog, two groups jumped ahead of us. Go for the golf not the bar.

the coarse was great fast greens
the coarse was great and fast greens, the coarse it self was in great shape we had a great time and the staff were out there getting us started and let us know why there was a little delay do to early morning frost.
