About
Cold Spring Country Club is situated halfway between Springfield and Worcester. Opened in 2010 in an effort to bring world class golf to western Massachusetts, the club has since garnered a local following. The par-71 layout is unique in that it has six par 3s and five par 5s. There are also some par 4s in the 450-yard range. The 6,521-yard length indicated on the scorecard can be deceiving since it feels much longer when you're playing it. The golf course has plenty of variety, including dogleg lefts, doglegs rights, short holes, and long holes. Thanks to its mountaintop locale, Cold Spring C.C. offers stunning views that are as diverse as the holes. The vistas from the elevated tees and greens stretch to the Berkshires, Connecticut, and Vermont. From the golf course's highest tee box on the par-3 10th, you'll have a panoramic view of central Massachusetts.

Hilly course, tough to walk
The course is in good shape for this time of year, it is recovering well. This course is offered as a walking only for GolfNow, choose carefully, walking is a challenge as this site has lots of hills.

not a great deal
showed up for our tee time and found out that all hot deals at this course are walking. paid $20 each for cart

Nice track
Course is in good shape, friendly staff, challenging holes, good pace of play. I believe there is a restaurant, but both times played had no time to stay and check it out.

First day open
First day open from winter and the course was remarkably in good shape. I’ve played here before and I know when the weather becomes more favorable through the year,the course is gorgeous.Great staff. Awesome restaurant, had lunch and was to full for dinner that night 😁.we’ll worth the price.

Great course, especially for the money
I enjoy playing here. Hole nine kind of stinks but whatever. Prix is very friendly, course was in good shape considering the time of year. Looking forward to coming back next year.

November Golf
Went to Cold Spring on November 3 Rd. Weather was fantastic, conditions of the course we're great. Fairways green and cut. Greens we're fast all consistent.
Best conditions I have ever seen there. Some funky golf holes , but a god course to play. Would recommend to play.

First thing I’d like to comment on on the golf course is the conditions the greens are great and the fairways were very nice, there was vertacut in the fairways but it didn’t affect play. The tees were flat and had grass on them. Now as far as design goes it has some pretty good elevation changes making club selection Paramont, local knowledge would be helpful as the second hole is a blind tea shot on a par five. If you play well and can drive 240yrds many of the par fives are reachable . It’s not a long course but the design requires you to think a little before you try and slice one around the corner of a dog leg. A well placed lay up may still allow you to reach a par 5 in 2. Was an enjoyable day.

Course might want to invest in a ranger for men in two carts holding up three groups behind them three groups two group and three group other than that the course was great.

3 par 3s and 3 par 5s each nine
Was our second time playing this course, but first time was years ago. The course is laid out to be challenging for all players. The greens are in great shape. There were only 2 negatives. First, it was a nice Sunday in October, so the course was busy and pace was slow. Second, the restaurant was closed. Hopefully the course can find someone to come in and run a restaurant there.
