About
Cold Spring Country Club is situated halfway between Springfield and Worcester. Opened in 2010 in an effort to bring world class golf to western Massachusetts, the club has since garnered a local following. The par-71 layout is unique in that it has six par 3s and five par 5s. There are also some par 4s in the 450-yard range. The 6,521-yard length indicated on the scorecard can be deceiving since it feels much longer when you're playing it. The golf course has plenty of variety, including dogleg lefts, doglegs rights, short holes, and long holes. Thanks to its mountaintop locale, Cold Spring C.C. offers stunning views that are as diverse as the holes. The vistas from the elevated tees and greens stretch to the Berkshires, Connecticut, and Vermont. From the golf course's highest tee box on the par-3 10th, you'll have a panoramic view of central Massachusetts.

The course n rates were ok. The course itself doesn’t include cart with hot deal so buyer be ware You’ll be adding some money to play. Still a good value
Great Course
This is a beautiful course that is in great condition. I have played all of the public courses in New England and this is up there as one of the better ones. Lots of ups and downs. Interesting holes.

Worst layout I've ever played on
I've lived local to this course all my life and have never played on it until yesterday. I have eaten there when it opened many years ago- seemed very high end. I see why the first two owners have failed to get memberships. It was 100% the weirdest course I've played on. The layout is extremely strange, and awkward. The holes around the club house are like hiking a mountain how vertical they are. Also, there is a 185 yard par 4! The pin is at least 60 feet above your head. I dont see the current owners lasting very long.
A few goods: Well kept fairways/greens and sand was nice.

Nice course, horrible everything else
18 holes took 5:22. No rangers at all. No 19th hole, range. The two guys in the pro shop were more interested in there cells than the golfers waiting to pay. Quirky little course on the shorter side even from playing from the Blues. Even with a deal at $57 we all felt like it was still over paying. All I can say is “ you have been warned”

18$ each person on the cart is outrageous
Not worth the money. No restaurant, course conditions are ok. 18 each person per cart range tokens 12$(~15 balls). They tell you to hit on the side of the machine and it will give you more balls. Yeah right. Could be a really nice course.

Fun layout!
This is my home course and I play it often. I play from the whites.
The course has lots of holes that can be difficult or easy with a good drive.
It is a challenging course to walk with some holes with a lot of elevation, especially #9 and #18.
9 is a fun hole it is a driveable par 4 that plays about 215-220 carry. The card lists it at 181 but it is straight uphill.
If you miss short of the green it will roll back 20-50 yards.

Nice course….. no food at all…. Kind Bars or candy bars… …. Although signs on course say call ahead for food at turn…

Loooong round of golf
Great course loved the elevation changes. Back nine dragged for three long hours. No rangers keeping up pace of play.
