Esplanade Golf and Country Club of Naples

My wife and I have played this course several times over the past three years, in January, March and April, and it has always been in good to excellent condition. Generous fairways off the tee for the most part, with water in play on many holes, but not "staring you in the face". We'll be back next year!

Really enjoyed this course once again. You can bite off as much as you can chew, and the water is present but not frightening.

Greens were perfect on the front 9, but apparently they decided to top dress the entire back nine with sand. And this wasn't a light top dress, this was like putting through the Sahara desert. Would have been nice for a heads up from the pro shop or the starter. Maybe include that info on the website instead of just taking the overpriced green fee. At the prices they are charging, they owe it to the players to inform them of playing conditions.

Excellent condition, friendly personnel, we were first tee time at 730AM. Great pace of play. Challenging, yet not overpowering. Wide fairways, lots of sand, water as lateral hazards and wind comes into play a lot. Some greens can be tricky depending on where you land, but they all ran true.

Chose playing here over playing at Old Corkscrew - I like both, but this course is a fairer course for a player like me.

Will definitely return.

First time playing course. I was impressed that it had "real" grass. Most of the courses I have played in Florida have what we call up North, Crab Grass. I was paired up with three other gentlemen who all found the course on GolfNow (wouldn't have played for regular price) and all were first time players as well. We all had a very enjoyable time. It rained for a few holes but not enough to make the round miserable. Disappointed that the "19th Hole" was closed after our round! Still have a hard time paying tax for golf.

If you are looking for a new and exclusive challenge in North Naples, then be sure to make this your next stop as the course will only be available to the public through 2019. The course is fair and well-maintained with five sets of tees to accommodate every skill level. The amenities are still under construction (no clubhouse etc) so be sure to temper expectations.

Nice tee boxes , green fairways and perfectly keep greens. Free range balls . Nice layout.

This course has good layout, conditions, staff but the pace of play is slow. My last game took Five hours five minutes according to my GPS. it didn’t seem like it but we tee off just after 11:00 and finished just after 4:00. Too long.

This is a very nice golf course. challenging, but not set up for only low handi-cappers. Cost is on the higher end for Naples area but, the conditions are so much better than the $80-$90 class of course that I would pay the fee again.

I was single and teamed up with another lady golfer.We had a great time,golfing,laughing and enjoying our time of Golf.The staff was pleasant and the course layout and conditions were great.Very strongly recommended.
